Diagnosis. Wingspan 11.0 mm. This species is superficially similar to P. concaviella Park, sp. nov., but the forewing ground color is more grayish brown, with a much larger kidney-shaped patch near the end of the discal cell. The male genitalia can be easily distinguished from those of P. concaviella by having a process on the ventral margin of the valva, lacking a spine and without a spine at lower corner of cucullus.
