F7272E51FF8D0F32FF3FFD03FA70485E.taxon	discussion	Notes. The present morphological delimitation of the genus Hormius on subgenera is based on the types of fore wing venation (veins reduction and shortening of the radial (marginal) cell). However, these peculiarities are impossible to study in the specimens with strongly shortened wings and significant reduction of the wing venation discussed in current paper. In that case, I prefer to classify conditionally the brachypterous, micropterous or apterous species of this genus as belonging to the subgenus Hormius s. str. until receiving contrary (perhaps molecular) data.	en	BELOKOBYLSKIJ, SERGEY A (2026): Brachypterous and micropterous species of the genus Hormius Nees (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Hormiinae). This specimen was initially determined as a member of the Eastern Palaearctic H. minialatus Tobias supposing distinct variability of its morphological characters (Belokobylskij & Kula, 2012). However, the restudy of this specimen as well as additional investigation of the material from Mongolia and Zabaikalskiy Territory (former Chita Province) of Russia and a search of available diagnostic characters with an estimation of their taxonomical meaning allowed me to separate it as new Hormius species in the group with sculptured vertex and mesoscutum.	en	BELOKOBYLSKIJ, SERGEY A (2026): Brachypterous and micropterous species of the genus Hormius Nees (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Hormiinae). F7272E51FF8B0F3AFF3FF9A9FB594CC3.taxon	discussion	Remarks. The detailed redescription of this species on the basis of present material was realised by Belokobylskij & Kula (2012). The specimen collected by Dr Hellén in the south part of Karelia (1 female, “ Vammeljoki ”, “ Hellen ”, “ 3113 ”) was erroneously determined as H. minialatus (Belokobylskij & Kula 2012) and is described above as a new species H. helleni sp. nov. Besides this, the female from Austria (labelled as “ Ebelsb [er] g, Schiltenb [er] g, Autob. Dst. Mönchsgr., 22.7. [19] 49, leg. Hamann ” and housed in the Naturhistorisches Museum, Wien, Austria) is excluded from material of this species (mentioned by Belokobylskij & Kula 2012) because this locality of a flightless species is situated too far from its original type locality (Mongolia), and requires a careful re-study of this specimen.	en	BELOKOBYLSKIJ, SERGEY A (2026): Brachypterous and micropterous species of the genus Hormius Nees (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Hormiinae).
