DB6587A41964C05AFF263CF264B06FCC.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Mukariini comprised 19 genera and 92 species before this study (Dmitriev 2022 onward, Rajgopal et al. 2025) distributed in the Afrotropical and Oriental regions. During this study we discovered 11 new species in seven genera from Thailand, of which three were new. Three keys to the genera of Mukariini have been published: Yang et al. (2016) for the genera known then from the Oriental region, Viraktamath & Webb (2019) for the genera known from the Indian subcontinent which was revised by Rajgopal et al. (2025). Here we provide a revised key to the known world genera of Mukariini incorporating information from the previous keys and also from Linnavuori (1979) for the Afrotropical region.	en	C. A. DB6587A4196EC051FF263DA7643B6FDB.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The genus can readily be recognized by the shape of the head, wing venation and male genitalia (see key to genera). Among the genera of Mukariini with an elongate male pygofer, it can be easily recognized by the absence of a well-developed long ventral pygofer process and from Scaphotettix by the well-developed preapical lobe of the style (weak in M. bifurcata). Chen et al. (2007) considered this genus closely related to Flatfronta from which it can be differentiated by the stalked third apical cell of the forewing (not stalked in Flatfronta), shorter crown (shorter than pronotum in Mohunia and about as long as or longer in Flatfronta), absence of short male ventral pygofer process and in the type species and M. quadripunctata sp. nov. by the presence of ventral paired processes of the aedeagus.	en	C. DB6587A4196EC053FF26387A62466A51.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Viraktamath & Webb (2019) adequately described and illustrated the species based on the type specimens in the Natural History Museum, London. There are some variations in the male connective of the type specimen and that of the specimens collected in Thailand. The connective in the type is broader with the base stout and apparently V-shaped, but in specimens from Thailand the connective is clearly V-shaped with thin lateral arms and without the presence of a stem. Other features are very similar except that the posterior macrosetae on the pygofer are broken and hence their length could not be assessed.	en	C. A. Viraktamath, Dietrich, C. H., Yeshwanth, H. M. DB6587A4196CC055FF263CF362286B15.taxon	discussion	Remarks. M. quadripunctata sp. nov. can easily be distinguished from M. splendens and other species of Mohunia by its external coloration, as it lacks the red longitudinal stripes on the head, thorax and forewings. It resembles M. splendens in having a pair of ventral processes on the aedeagus. However, it differs from the latter species in having a prong-like male pygofer ventral process (in M. splendens the male pygofer has two to three ventral tubercles); also, the aedeagus in M. splendens has the processes arising clearly from the preatrium whereas in the new species they arise near base of the aedeagus.	en	C. DB6587A41970C04FFF263AFA602E6EDE.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Dai et al. (2009) gave several characters to distinguish this genus from other genera of Mukariini and Viraktamath & Webb (2019) showed that the male ventral pygofer process in the type species is probably paired rather than single as erroneously shown by Knight and Webb (2002). The genus is heterogeneous in the shape of the head and pygofer processes and eventually may be subdivided into two or more genera to make it more homogeneous. Here we describe two new species of Scaphotettix, in addition to recording S. striatus from Thailand.	en	C. A. Viraktamath, Dietrich, C. H., Yeshwanth, H. M. DB6587A4197FC042FF2639FC63DB6DAD.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Similar to some species of Scaphotettix (for example S. bispinosus Dai & Zhang) in coloration but the clypellus (see below) wing venation and male genitalia are different. Setubandha and Thaimukaria gen. nov. (see below) are peculiar in having a sclerotized process on the subgenital plate as in the genus Paralaevicephalus Ishihara (tribe Paralimnini). Setubandha differs from other genera in Mukariini in having the clypellus wider at apex than at base, long connective that is as long as style, short, stout and compressed aedeagal shaft with apical gonopore and with a process on dorsal margin of aedeagal shaft.	en	C. DB6587A4197BC044FF263FCA603B6CEC.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Thaimukaria has forewing venation similar to that in Scaphotettix and Myittana, but the male genitalia are different. This genus resembles Setubandha externally in coloration and also in having a stout spine-like process on subgenital plate, however, in Thaimukaria the process arises on the lateral side whereas in Setubandha it arises on the mesal side of the subgenital plate. In addition, the connective is long, as long as style in Setubandha but in Thaimukaria it is shorter; the aedeagus in Setubandha is short, stout, compressed and the shaft has long dorsomedian process whereas in Thaimukaria the aedeagus is more slender, long and without processes and the aedeagal shaft is cylindrical.	en	C. DB6587A41979C079FF263D7F64B06BD6.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Clypellus sometimes not reaching the genal curve; apodemes of male abdominal segment II (s 2) elongate and widened apically (except in Loeia Duan and Clavoreticula gen. nov.), female pygofer relatively short. In addition, three genera originally described by Dai, Zahniser, Viraktamath & Webb (2017) in the tribe Punctulini namely, Punctulus, Hirsutula and Taveunius have the following less than usual characters: thorax (dorsally) and head (except Taveunius) punctate and usually punctures with fine setae; anterior margin of head carinate; and Punctulus and Hirsitula have the subgenital plates with scattered macrosetae (see Remarks below and Table 1).	en	C. DB6587A41979C079FF263D7F64B06BD6.taxon	discussion	Remarks. As can be seen from the diagnosis and Table 1, there are now no features found in all genera of Punctulini although with the exception of Loeia and Clavoreticula, all have narrow capitate s 2 male apodemes. Originally the tribe was well-defined based on punctations and setae on the dorsum, the carina on the crown anterior margin and scattered macrosetae on the subgenital plates. However, the new genera described below and in Dietrich et al. (2020) from Vietnam lack these features but are included in the tribe based on the clypellus not reaching the genal curve and narrow diverging abdominal s 2 apodemes that are widened at apex. Subsequent phylogenetic analysis using molecular data by Cao et al. (2022) that included species of genera Hochiminhus Dietrich, Nguen & Pham, Punctulus and Loeia supported inclusion of Hochimihus and Loeia in Punctulini, thus supporting an expanded, albeit poorly defined concept of Punctulini (see also Dietrich 2015).	en	C. DB6587A41946C078FF263C70641A6B31.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The generic name Clavoreticula refers to the reticulate claval venation in the forewing; gender, feminine.	en	C. A. DB6587A41946C078FF263C70641A6B31.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Genera Bambuphaga, Clavoreticula and Hochiminhus have reticulate forewing clavus but differ in the male genitalia structures as mentioned under the Diagnosis, Key to genera and in Table 1. These genera also do not have a punctate integument on head, thorax and forewings found in the original genera of the tribe (see Table 1). Bambuphaga has a reticulate clavus as in the new genus, and Hochiminhus has a completely reticulate forewing. Clavoreticula differs from Bambuphaga in sometimes having processes on the atrium of the aedeagus and also in having a slender cylindrical aedeagal shaft rather than a compressed shaft with apical and subapical processes found in the latter. The new genus differs from Hochiminhus in having the forewing corium not reticulately veined and in having a simple apophysis of the style (ornate in Hochiminhnus). Pseudocestius also has a pygofer process and processes on the atrium of the aedeagus, but the new genus differs from this genus in having the crown medially longer than next to eyes (parallel sided crown in Pseudocestius), processes of the atrium are dorsally directed compared to ventrally directed processes in Pseudocestius. The three species of this genus recognized here have quite different male pygofer and subgenital plates: male pygofer in C. circinantis has a vertically unsclerotized region at base of the pygofer lobe where ventral process also arises; in both C. biprocessa and C. triprocessa such an unsclerotized region is absent and instead of ventral process the former has tooth-like processes on dorsal margin and the latter has a dorsal marginal process that strongly narrows posteriorly terminating into a spine-like process. The subgenital plate in C. circinantis has lateral margin uniformly convexly curved and dorsal surface with a sclerotized median band in distal 0.66 length; C. biprocessa and C. triprocessa have lateral margins concavely incurved and without a median sclerotized band. Therefore C. circinantis is placed in a new subgenus under this genus.	en	C. A. Viraktamath, Dietrich, C. H., Yeshwanth, H. M. DB6587A41941C070FF263AB3620E6D71.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Thaipunctulus gen. nov. is very similar to Clavoreticula externally, but does not have accessory veins on the forewing clavus, the outer subapical cell is triangular and about 0.33 × as long as the median subapical cell (in Clavoreticula the forewing clavus is reticulate and the outer subapical cell is about 0.5 × or more as long as median cell). The atrium of the aedeagus in Thaipunctulus has lateral lobe-like expansions (one pair near base and another apically), whereas in Clavoreticula, the atrium of the aedeagus is either without (as in the subgenus Clavoreticula (Radana )) or with long processes (as in the nominotypical subgenus). The gonopore in Thaipunctulus is subapical to apical whereas in Clavoreticula it is apical.	en	C. A. Viraktamath, Dietrich, C. H., Yeshwanth, H. M.
