D47C7C174E235B328FC6D2525D097179.taxon	description	Description. Colonies encrusting plastic bottles, unilaminar, multiserial (Fig. 2 A). Autozooids almost rectangular, longer than wide (LZ 376 – 450 µm [415 ± 23, N = 10]; WZ 193 – 210 µm [202 ± 6, N = 10]) with distal end circular to subcircular and proximal margins concave (Fig. 2 B). Gymnocyst absent. Cryptocyst surrounding almost entirely the opesia, occupying approximately one-third of the frontal surface, granular; anvil-shaped process wide, with 4 – 7 short triangular spines projecting into the opesia (Fig. 2 D); laterodistal denticles sparse. Opesia (LOp 175 – 243 µm [216 ± 23, N = 10]; WOp 151 – 178 µm [164 ± 8, N = 10]), occupying about half of zooidal length; lateral walls raised, beaded, and thick; a row of uniporous mural septula present near the distal basal wall (Fig. 2 C). Ancestrula twinned (Fig. 2 B).	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A. (2026): Membraniporina and Thalamoporellina (Bryozoa: Cheilostomatida) from the Konkan Coast, Maharashtra, India. D47C7C174E235B328FC6D2525D097179.taxon	discussion	Remarks. In terms of autozooidal characters, dimensions, and the presence of a row of uniporous mural septula at the distal basal wall, the Indian Biflustra marcusi and its Brazilian counterpart are identical. However, a significant difference occurs in the laterodistal denticles: the Brazilian material has two acute, medially directed denticles, while the Indian specimens show sparse and short distolateral denticles. Furthermore, the Indian specimens lack the gymnocystal tubercles present in the Brazilian specimens (see Almeida et al. 2017). Acanthodesia cf. falsitenuis (Liu, 1992) is similar to the studied material in autozooidal size and shape, but differs in having longer spines on the anvil-shaped process (see Taylor & Tan 2015).	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A. D47C7C174E295B388FC6D237581171D5.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Sinoflustra amoyensis (Robertson, 1921) is distinguished from Sinoflustra annae by having multiporous distal septula instead of uniporous (see Almeida et al. 2017). The present specimens have uniporous septula and are similar in autozooidal characters to the Brazilian specimens of S. annae (see Almeida et al. 2017, p. 1482, fig. 13 a – e). In addition, the present material closely resembles S. annae of McCann et al. (2007) from the western Atlantic in the size of autozooids and in having a similar granular cryptocyst (see McCann et al. 2007, p. 328, fig. 5 C, D).	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A. Autozooids elongated, longer than wide (LZ 392 – 520 µm [474 ± 48, N = 20]; WZ 254 – 267 µm [260 ± 5, N = 20]), surrounded by thin, smooth autozooidal boundaries (Fig. 9 A, D). Gymnocyst reduced. Cryptocyst granular, raised proximolaterally and sunken distomedially, perforated with 15 – 20 small, circular, unevenly spaced pseudopores. Orifice subcircular (LOr 131 – 161 µm [148 ± 12, N = 5]; WOr 110 – 154 µm [131 ± 18, N = 5]) with smooth margins; distal border more convex. Adoral tubercles large and conspicuous. Two unequal, subrounded opesiules adjacent to lateral walls of autozooids and away from the proximal lip of the orifice (Fig. 9 C), both reaching the basal wall, with insertions mostly consisting of a pair of hooks that loop distally to reconnect to the lateral wall, forming a secure attachment (Fig. 9 E). Avicularia vicarious, interzooidal, longer than wide (LAv 306 – 320 µm [313 ± 7, N = 4]; WAv 137 – 156 µm [147 ± 10, N = 4]), with pointed, straight and acute rostrum, diverging from sibling autozooid (Fig. 9 B); opesia squarish; proximal edge straight, with two conspicuous tubercles distally over the rim of the avicularian opesia; cryptocyst extensive, entirely granular, comprising approximately one-third of the total avicularian length.	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A. D47C7C174E285B388FC6D42B5BF274EE.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Our specimen is almost indistinguishable from Thalamoporella hamata Harmer, 1926, sharing all key characters. Nevertheless, a subtle difference is observed in the avicularian rostrum, which is torqued in T. hamata (as illustrated in Tilbrook 2006, p. 88, pl. 12 E), whereas it remains straight in the present specimen. Thalamoporella hamata in Badve & Sonar (1997, p. 36, pl. 1, figs 1, 4; pl. IV, fig. 2) is also similar to the present specimen, except for the slightly concave proximal edge of the avicularium. The fossil T. bhujensis Sonar, Pawar & Wayal, 2022, superficially resembles the present material in autozooidal and avicularian characteristics; however, the autozooids are comparatively smaller in the former species.	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A. D47C7C174E2B5B3D8FC6D54E5B5C7259.taxon	description	Description. Colony encrusting, unilaminar. Autozooids longer than wide (LZ 618 – 828 µm [722 ± 54, N = 20]; WZ 392 – 484 µm [433 ± 32, N = 20]), outlined by thick, raised autozooidal boundaries (Fig. 10 A), arranged in longitudinal, alternating rows. Cryptocyst extensive, raised distomedially, coarsely granular, perforated with 60 – 80 circular, evenly spaced, often occluded pseudopores, surrounded by a raised, beaded rim. Orifice generally subrounded, wider than long (LOr 202 – 271 µm [264 ± 10, N = 10]; WOr 250 – 281 µm [232 ± 23; N = 10]), with raised margin; distal border more arcuate, distinct, smooth; proximal border crenulated and slightly concave. Adoral tubercles absent. Two unequal, pyriform opesiules adjacent to lateral walls of autozooids, close to the proximal lip of the orifice; one slightly elongate in torqued autozooids adjacent to an avicularium (Fig. 10 B), descending to the basal wall, with insertions consisting of one larger open hook and smaller bar, looping to reconnect with the lateral wall distally (Fig. 10 C). Avicularia shorter than sibling zooid (LAv 705 – 710 µm [708 ± 3, N = 2]; mean LAv / LZ = 0.98; mean LAv / LZ (sibling) = 0.92), spatulate; mandible raised, with medially directed flanges on each side; rostrum longer than wide (LRo 323 – 342 µm [333 ± 10, N = 2]; WRo 240 – 245 µm [243 ± 2, N = 2]), distal edge slightly broader and asymmetrically rounded; gymnocystal surface smooth or sparsely crenulated; opesia arcuate, wide proximally and semicircular distally, occupying almost two-thirds of frontal surface; cryptocyst extensive (LAvCr 183 – 185 µm [184 ± 1, N = 2]; WAvCr 187 – 188 µm [188 ± 1, N = 2]), entirely granular, bordered by a smooth rim proximolaterally. Avicularium and adjacent sibling zooid strongly torqued toward each other. Lateral transverse walls with uniporous mural septula (Fig. 10 D).	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A. D47C7C174E2B5B3D8FC6D54E5B5C7259.taxon	discussion	Remarks. An avicularium shorter (91 – 92 %) than the sibling autozooid, basal insertions consisting of one larger open hook and a smaller bar that reconnects to the lateral wall distally, and the presence of uniporous mural septula on the lateral transverse wall are unique characters of Thalamoporella souleorum sp. nov. Thalamoporella granulata Levinsen, 1909 closely resembles the present species in colony morphology, autozooidal and avicularian features. However, it differs in having an avicularium longer than the sibling zooid (123 % in Levinsen’s specimens and 119 – 134 % in Soule’s specimen; see Soule et al. 1992, p. 48, figs 66 – 68), and basal insertion consisting of a pair of equally large open hooks. Notably, mural septula were not observed by Levinsen (1909) and Soule et al. (1992). The present species also resembles T. karesansui Dick & Grischenko, 2017 in autozooidal characters and basal insertions. Nevertheless, it differs in the length of the orifice and avicularia, their ratios relative to sibling zooids, and the torsion of avicularia and sibling zooids, which is weak or absent in T. karesansui. The Indian species shares similarities with Thalamoporella distorta Osburn, 1940 (Caribbean), T. hawaiiana Soule & Soule, 1970 (Hawaii), T. semitorquata Soule, Soule & Chaney, 1992 (Maldives), and T. tupinamba Almeida, Larré & Vieira, 2021 (Brazil) in the torsion of sibling autozooids and avicularia. However, T. souleorum sp. nov. is distinguished by its unique avicularian morphology and dimensions, whereas the other species exhibit distinct rostrum shapes and foramen types.	en	Wayal, Dnyaneshwar V., Sonar, Mohan A.
