D10C87F6FFF31738FF5241171E092C9F.taxon	discussion	NOTES. Until now this species was known only from three localities in Malayan part of Borneo Island (Sarawak Province) — Retoh [= Reteh] River; Shrang River; Sibakac, Tunai River as well as from a single locality in Indonesian part of Borneo Island (West Kalimantan Province) — Mt. Merenjak [= Merinjak] (Cassola 1983, 1995, 2006, 2009). This locality is the second for C. bryanti in Indonesia (Fig. 60). The main measurements of newly recorded female are as follows: TL = 7.5 mm, HW = 2.1 mm, LL = 0.43 mm, LW = 1.1 mm, PL = 1.4 mm, PW = 1.3 mm, EL = 4.6 mm, EW = 2.6 mm. Moreover, the elytral pattern for this female includes short but distinct marginal portion of humeral lunule clearly visible in the lateral view (Fig. 2).	en	Matalin, Andrey V. D10C87F6FFF6173DFF524447187F2BB7.taxon	discussion	NOTES. Initially Cicindela gestroi (a female) and Cicindela catoptroides (a male) were described from Sumatra as two separate species (Horn 1892). Cassola (1983) accepted this interpretation while Wiesner (1986) considered C. gestroi as the synonym of C. catoptroides. Later Cassola (2006) restored the species status for C. gestroi, and here I concur. To date, C. gestroi is known from North Sumatra, Bengkulu and South Sumatra Provinces (Fig. 58).	en	Matalin, Andrey V. D10C87F6FFF4173FFF5245BE1F8C2BD3.taxon	discussion	NOTES. This species is known from the Malayan provinces Sabah and Sarawak, in the Sultanate Brunei (Cassola 1983, 1995, 2006, 2009; Wiesner 1989, 1998; Damken et al. 2017), as well as in the Indonesian provinces West Kalimantan (Cassola, 1995) and East Kalimantan (https: // www. inaturalist. org / observations / 279739020; https: // www. inaturalist. org / observations / 10613198). The afore female was found in the West Kalimantan province for the second time (Fig. 60). Among other species of the subgenus C. kibbyana is remarkable because of sexual colour dimorphism — males being olive-green, females blue green to blue violet. However, occasionally males are bicoloured with golden-green head and pronotum and greenish-cupreous (Figs 23, 24) or even cupreous elytra (https: // www. inaturalist. org / observations / 279739020; https: // www. inaturalist. org / observations / 327064537; https: // www. inaturalist. org / observations / 10613198).	en	Matalin, Andrey V. D10C87F6FFFB1730FF52403F19772F9B.taxon	discussion	NOTES. Initially this species was described based on a single female from Kinabalu Mountain, Borneo (Horn 1903). Eighty years later a second female was mentioned from the Dulit Mountain near the junction of Tinjar and Lejok Rivers (Cassola 1983). The outline drawing of the labrum, left elytron and aedeagus of male of C. plasoni was published for the first time by Wiesner (1989). Later, numerous specimens of both sexes of this species were found in the Malayan States of Sabah and Sarawak (Cassola 1995, 2006) as well as in Brunei (Wiesner 1998; Damken et al. 2017) (Fig. 60). Here the colour images of the mandibles and labrum (Fig. 26) as well as the aedeagus (Fig. 27) of C. plasoni are presented for the first time. The large gap between the middle and basal internal molars of the mandibles clearly distinguishes males of C. plasoni from other species of Leptinomera.	en	Matalin, Andrey V. D10C87F6FFFD172AFF5245BE1ED128D7.taxon	discussion	NOTES. Cylindera kualatahanensis was described based on a sole male specimen from the Malayan State Pahang (Matalin & Cassola 2000), and later one female was recorded from the Malayan State Johor (Wiesner 2013). The slender habitus, long thin legs and antennae were the reasons for initially placing this species within the subgenus Leptinomera. Recently Wiesner and Lien (2023) established the subgenus Matalinia for two Sumatran endemics: C. elegantissima (W. Horn, 1892) and C. neervoorti (W. Horn, 1913) which earlier were considered in the subgenus Verticina Rivalier, 1961. Comparison of the habitus, shape of the labrum, mandibles, and aedeagus in C. kualatahanensis (Figs 51, 53, 55) and C. elegantissima (Figs 52, 54, 56) suggests that t C. kualatahanensis should be transferred from the subgenus Leptinomera to the subgenus Matalinia.	en	Matalin, Andrey V.
