Body large-sized (12.5‒15.0 mm). All antennomeres filiform and simple in both sexes (Figs 2, 10). Pronotum transverse, wider than long, widest near posterior margin. Pro- and meso-femora weakly or moderately swollen (Figs 3, 4), prothoracic legs covered with more or less long hairs, and mesotrochanters with one or two small teeth in male (Fig. 4), while all simple in female. Terminal abdominal tergite of male with stout and horn-shaped postero-lateral projections (Figs 5A‒D, 11A‒B), about 1/2 to 2/3 length of the tergite, excavated longitudinally on ventral side, the excavations delimitated with arcuately keeled edges (Figs 5A‒B, 11A), sometimes covered with a pair of tufts of setae at apices. Terminal abdominal ventrite of male heart-shaped (Figs 5E‒F, 11C), surface present with two pairs of longitudinal ridges, of which the lateral ones arcuate and the middle ones nearly straight, both converging posteriorly; terminal abdominal ventrite of female (Fig. 8E‒F) rounded at lateral margins. Proctiger bilobed, paraproct mostly invert-trapezoidal, with at least a pair of projections at lateral margins (Fig. 6A‒C). Aedeagus (Figs 7, 12): left paramere widely acute or rounded at apex, right paramere usually with a small conical projection covered with seta on dorsal side, sometimes reduced and almost invisible; setiforous extension welldeveloped; median lobe about three times longer than tegmen.

Included species.
