Zhao sp. nov.</p><p>Figs 6, 7, 8</p><p>Etymology.</p><p>albomarginata (Lat.): referring to the white margin of the type specimen.</p><p>Diagnosis.</p><p>It is characterized by resupinate, coriaceous basidiomata with white to cream hymenial surface, a monomitic hyphal system with clamped generative hyphae, thin-walled, and drop-shaped basidiospores (9.5–12 × 5–7.5 µm).</p><p>Holotype.</p><p>China, Yunnan Province, Dehong, Ruili, Tongbiguan Provincial Nature Reserve, 24°01'N, 97°83'E, altitude 1000 m asl., on the fallen angiosperm branch, leg. C. L. Zhao, 23 September 2024, CLZhao 42114 (SWFC 00042114) .</p><p>Basidiomata.</p><p>Annual, resupinate, coriaceous, without odor or taste when fresh, up to 8 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, up to 200 µm thick. Hymenial surface smooth, white when fresh, turning to cream upon drying. Sterile margin white, thinning out up to 0.5 mm wide.</p><p>Hyphal system.</p><p>Monomitic; generative hyphae with clamp connections, colorless, thin-walled, branched, interwoven, 2–3 µm in diameter; IKI –, CB –; tissues unchanged in KOH. Cystidia capitate, colorless, thin-walled, 29–40 × 6–11 µm; Basidia subcylindrical, slightly constricted, with four sterigmata and a basal clamp connection, 30–47 × 6–10 µm, basidioles dominant, in shape similar to basidia, but slightly smaller. Basidiospores drop-shaped, colorless, thin-walled, smooth, with a few guttulae, IKI –, CB –, (9 –) 9.5–12 (– 12.5) × (4.5 –) 5–7.5 (– 8) µm, L = 10.92 µm, W = 6.25 µm, Q = 1.40–2.30 (n = 60 / 2).</p><p>Material examined specimen</p><p>(paratype). Zhao sp. nov.</p><p>Figs 9, 10, 11</p><p>Etymology.</p><p>odontoideus (Lat.): referring to the odontioid hymenial surface of the type specimen.</p><p>Diagnosis.</p><p>It is characterized by odontioid hymenial surface, a monomitic hyphal system with clamped generative hyphae, ovoid to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores (4–4.5 × 2.5–3 µm).</p><p>Holotype.</p><p>China, Yunnan Province, Dehong, Ruili, Tongbiguan Provincial Nature Reserve, 24°01'N, 97°83'E, altitude 1100 m asl., on the fallen angiosperm branch, leg. C. L. Zhao, 15 January 2025, CLZhao 44314 (SWFC 00044314) .</p><p>Basidiomata.</p><p>Annual, resupinate, coriaceous, fragile, without odor or taste when fresh, up to 7 cm long, 3 cm wide, up to 100 µm thick. Hymenial surface odontioid, slightly pink when fresh, turning slightly brown upon drying. Sterile margin cream to pink, thinning out up to 0.2 mm wide.</p><p>Hyphal system.</p><p>Monomitic; generative hyphae with clamp connections, colorless, thin-walled, rarely branched, interwoven, 1.5–4 µm in diameter; IKI –, CB –; tissues unchanged in KOH. Gloeocystidia numerous, variable in size and shape, with two types, (1) moniliform, colorless, thin-walled, 29–40 × 6–11 µm; (2) fusiform to subcylindrical, slightly flexuous and inflated, tapering gradually towards the top, 26–57 × 4–12 µm. Basidia subcylindrical to subclavate, with a basal clamp connection and four sterigmata, 11–16 × 3.5–5.5 µm, basidioles dominant, in shape similar to basidia, but slightly smaller. Basidiospores ovoid to broadly ellipsoid, thin-walled, colorless, smooth, IKI –, CB –, 4–4.5 (– 5) × (2 –) 2.5–3 µm, L = 4.3 µm, W = 2.7 µm, Q = 1.33–1.91 (n = 60 / 2).</p><p>Material examined specimen</p><p>(paratype).
