7A68BE3BFFEDE939A5E24C811759F850.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The masculine generic name refers to the similarity of this new genus to Hyalinocerus Zhang & Li.	en	Zhang, Bin, Yue, Yiming, Li, Guoqing, Bao, Sarina, Zhang, Hui (2026): Neohyalinocerus, a new genus of Idiocerini for Amritodus flavoscutatus Cai & Shen, 1998 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) from China. 7A68BE3BFFEDE939A5E24C811759F850.taxon	discussion	Comments. Neohyalinocerus belongs to the Tasnimocerus genus group, characterized by transverse rugae on the head and thorax. Neohyalinocerus and Hyalinocerus have a similar style with apophysis curved dorsally at nearly 90 ° angle, but Neohyalinocerus differs by the male pygofer having a ventral process and connective small with stem short, and aedeagus lacking long processes near apex. Neohyalinocerus has a spot on the forewing costa similar to that of some species of Longicauda Zhang & Wu, but the latter differs in having an elongate pygofer and elongated stem of the connective.	en	Zhang, Bin, Yue, Yiming, Li, Guoqing, Bao, Sarina, Zhang, Hui (2026): Neohyalinocerus, a new genus of Idiocerini for Amritodus flavoscutatus Cai & Shen, 1998 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) from China. 7A68BE3BFFEFE93FA5E24CC91633FB08.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Neohyalinocerus flavoscutatus resembles Hyalinocerus nigrimaculatus Zhang & Li, 2012 in having pronotal markings (Figs. 1 – 3, 20 – 22) in both the male and female, the presence of an anal collar, and an elongate apical apophysis of the style (Figs. 12, 24). However, the new species differs from the latter in having a ventral pygofer processes (Fig. 11), a longer preatrium of the aedeagus, the aedeagal shaft without long apical processes (Figs 13 – 14) and the connective with a short stem (Figs 13 – 14).	en	Zhang, Bin, Yue, Yiming, Li, Guoqing, Bao, Sarina, Zhang, Hui (2026): Neohyalinocerus, a new genus of Idiocerini for Amritodus flavoscutatus Cai & Shen, 1998 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) from China.
