Head and thorax. Head including eyes narrower than pronotum, round in lateral view. Vertex triangular, wide basally and narrow apically, somewhat beyond anterior margin of eyes, lateral marginal carinae elevated, without median carina. Frons extremely narrow, with lateral marginal carinae contiguous almost throughout. Postclypeus triangular, slightly shorter than or equal to frons in length, disc slightly elevated, with a longitudinal median carina and two longitudinal lateral carinae. Rostrum somewhat stout and short, with apical segment expanded, reaching or slightly exceeding coxae of hind legs. Eyes developed, with ventral margin obviously concave inwards, anterior apical angle strongly protruded to near apex of frons; ocelli present. Antennae with pedicel twice longer than widest part and shorter than or equal to frons, subcylindrical, narrow basally and expanded distad, with minute sensilla, without subantennal processes. Pronotum short at middle, anterior margin angularly convex and posterior margin roundly concave, lateral carinae obscure, lateral parts expand to patagium-like. Mesonotum large and diamond, with a longitudinal median carina and two longitudinal lateral carinae, disc raised apparently. Tegmina elongate, expanded distad, widest at middle to subapical part, costal margin relatively straight with sensory pits in basal half, posterior margin arched, apical margin slightly straight, jugal margin protruded; often three veinlets connecting ScP+R and ScP+RA to costal margin; ScP+RA separating from RP about middle of tegmina and significantly distad of CuA forking; RA 2 and RP 1 more or less undulate; RP 2 with two short and straight branches; MP with six forks, MP 3+4 simple, five parallel veinlets connect every two branches of MP except for two apical branches; CuA forked near middle, and then CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (or CuA simple, cell 5 absent); clavus open, narrow and elongate, expanded apically; Pcu connected with A 1 at basal third of clavus; Pcu+A 1 connected with CuP at middle of clavus. Wings slightly shorter than half of tegmina and round at apex, CuA with two branches, MP with two or three branches, stridulatory plate present with convex outer margin. Metatibiotarsal formulae: (4–5)-(5–8)-(6–9).</p><p>Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, in dorsal view, subrectangular, constricted at apex, with anal stylus at middle, in lateral view, dorsal margin convex dorsad near base, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part. Pygofer narrow in profile, without medioventral process. Gonostylus narrow and long, often bifurcated apically, with an internal process near dorsal base, covering long setae on surface and often bearing a hook-shaped process near apex. Body length: male (N=1) (incl. tegmen): 6.4 mm (except tegmen: 2.9 mm), length of tegmen: 5.6 mm.</p><p>Coloration. Body blackish brown to black. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellowish and disc black (Fig. 1). Frons yellowish, with lateral marginal carinae yellowish, in lateral view, genae each with two small black spots in front of eyes, of which light spot at basal third and dark one at apical third (Figs 2, 3). Postclypeus black, anteclypeus yellowish to white, labrum red. Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Figs 2, 3). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellowish. Pronotum black, with margins and median carina white (Figs 1–3). Mesonotum black, with white posterior margin, median carina white at anterior quarter, lateral carinae same color as mesonotum (Fig. 1). Tegula black, with posterior marginal angle near side corner of mesonotum milk white (Fig. 1). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with dark brown irregular markings in apical quarter, costal cell with two dark brown markings at base, MP branches with dark brown spots at terminal, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellowish brown to dark brown (Fig. 4, 5, 73). Wings off-white with a triangular dark brown stripe at base, veins yellowish brown (Fig. 74). Coxae of fore and middle legs black, rest yellowish (Figs 2, 3). Abdomen black (Figs 1, 3). Anal tube of male and gonostyli yellow, slightly darker at apex (Fig. 3).</p><p>Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.7 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 1). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 2). Antennae with pedicel about 2.1 times longer than widest part and shorter than frons (Figs 1–3). Mesonotum about nine times longer than pronotum in midline, disc raised apparently and posterior part flat, with three indistinct longitudinal carinae, median carina straight and lateral two curved towards middle at posterior third (Figs 1, 3). Right tegmen: narrow and elongate, about 3.5 times longer than widest part; ScP+RA separating from RP slightly beyond middle of tegmen; CuA forked about at same level of MP 1+2 forking and basal third of tegmen, CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (Figs 4, 73). Left tegmen with CuA simple, cell 5 absent, other features same as on right (Fig. 5). Wings with MP two-branched, CuA two-branched (Fig. 74). Metatibiotarsal formula: 4- 7-8 (Fig. 6).</p><p>Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, slightly groove, in dorsal view, subtrapezoidal, wide basally and slightly constricted distad, sharply constricted to conical at apex, with anal stylus at middle, epiproct wide and subtrapezoidal, paraproct long and oval (Fig. 7); in lateral view, dorsal margin convex dorsad in basal third, narrow triangular and inclined ventrad at apex, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part and angularly convex at apical sixth (Fig. 8). Gonostylus narrow and long, in dorsal view, C-shaped, dorsal margin short and ventral margin long, narrow and incurved at middle, broad and truncated obliquely at apex, hirsutiusculus (Fig. 10); in lateral view, slightly arched ventrad at middle and curved dorsad in apical third, angularly protruded caudad at apex; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface, in addition, with a small hook-like process protruded caudad at subapical part of it, and a conical lobe protruded caudad on inside below it, blunt acute and hirsutiusculus (Fig. 9).</p><p>Type material.   Holotype: ♂ (NWAFU),  Mahuangtang Village,  Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, 900 m, 11 Jun. 2009, coll. Zhang Lei.</p><p>Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the dark brown markings on the apical part of tegmina.</p><p>Remarks. This species is significantly different from the currently known species of  Shizuka by its unique tegminal markings and non-bifurcated gonostyli. Body length: male (N=1) (incl. tegmen): 7.5 mm (except tegmen: 3.2 mm), length of tegmen: 6.8 mm.</p><p>Coloration. Body generally black. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae brownish and disc white (Figs 11, 12). Frons white, with lateral marginal carinae brownish except for black at basal third, in lateral view, genae each with a longitudinal stripe from apex to apical third in front of eyes (Figs 13, 14). Postclypeus black, with median carina and lateral carinae black. Rostrum yellow, with apical segment black (Figs 13, 14). Eyes blackish; ocelli white. Antennae yellow, with pedicel tinged black in middle. Pronotum black, with margins and median carina yellowish (Figs 11–14). Mesonotum black, with posterior margin yellowish, median carina yellow, lateral carinae black on anterior third and yellowish on rest. Tegula yellowish (Figs 11, 12, 14). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with dark brown unguiform markings in apical part, MP branches with dark brown spots at terminal, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellowish brown to dark brown (Fig. 17). Pygofer narrow, in lateral view, widest ventrally, anterior margin concave at dorsal third, posterior margin arched caudad in dorsal quarter (Fig. 20); in ventral view, venter wide rectangular, with anterior and posterior margins relatively straight (Fig. 19). Gonostylus narrow and long, in dorsal view, hook-shaped, narrow and incurved centrally (Figs 18, 19); in lateral view, curved dorsad near apex, bifurcated apically into two branches, one of which large and triangular, pointed at apex and directed dorsad, other one underneath very small, round and protruded caudad; with a narrow internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface (Figs 20, 21). Phallic complex moderately short and stout in appearance, with basal half relatively narrow and apical half distinctly swollen, in dorsal view, periandrium strongly arched near middle on left side (Fig. 22); in lateral view, periandrium with dorsal margin shallowly concave at basal third and membranous near apex (Figs 23, 24); with five processes, from base to apex: 1) a medium-sized angular process directed dorsocaudad at middle; 2) a long strip-shaped process arising near apical part, broad and compressed, slightly folded centrally, blunt acute and curved downward apically, extending forward to basal third of phallic complex; 3) a long and acute process directed dorsad near base of second process at apex; 4) a large and elongate process directed dorsocephalad on right side of third process, broad at base and gradually tapered distad, deflexed near middle; 5) a long and acute process directed dorsad at middle part of apex (Figs 22–24).</p><p>Type material.   Holotype: ♂ (NWAFU),  Nangun River, Lincang County, Yunnan Province, China, 700 m, 25 Sept. 2024, coll. Li Rongrong.</p><p>Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the close resemblance of tegminal markings to  S. apicula,  sp. nov.</p><p>Remarks. Body length: male (N=2) (incl. tegmen): 7.8–7.9 mm (except tegmen: 3.5–3.6 mm), female (N=2) (incl. tegmen): 7.4–7.5 mm (except tegmen: 2.4–2.5 mm); length of tegmen: male (N=2): 6.7–6.8 mm, female (N=2): 6.1–6.2 mm.</p><p>Coloration. Body brown to black. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellowish brown and disc brown (Fig. 25). Frons yellowish, with lateral marginal carinae yellowish, in lateral view, genae each with two small black spots in front of eyes, of which small spot at basal quarter and large one at apical third (Fig. 27). Postclypeus black, longitudinal median carina yellow (Fig. 26). Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Fig. 27). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellowish, with pedicel tinged black in middle (Figs 25–27). Pronotum dark brown, with a transverse yellow streak at middle and a yellowish brown spot on each lateral part, margins and longitudinal median carina yellow (Figs 25–27). Mesonotum dark brown, with longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae yellowish brown, scutellum with posterior margin yellowish (Fig. 25). Tegula brown (Figs 25, 27). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with three continuous transverse dark brown bands from anterior margin to posterior margin, first band at connection of Pcu+A 1 level, second one at apex of clavus level, third one at first r-m level, and irregular dark brown markings in apical quarter, costal cell with tiger stripes, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellowish brown to dark brown (Fig. 30). Wings off-white, with a triangular dark brown stripe at base and dark brown markings in apical quarter, dark brown stripes along veinlets and transverse branches of veins, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 75). Coxae of legs black and rest yellowish (Figs 26, 27). Abdomen black, with three rows of small yellow spots on tergite V to VII (Figs 28, 29). Male terminalia brown.</p><p>Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.5 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 25). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 26). Antennae with pedicel about 3.2 times longer than widest part and about equal to frons (Figs 25–27). Pygofer narrow, in lateral view, widest ventrally, anterior margin concave at dorsal quarter, posterior margin arched caudad in dorsal quarter (Fig. 35), in ventral view, venter wide rectangular, with anterior and posterior margins straight (Fig. 34). Gonostylus narrow and long, in dorsal view, broad basally, narrow and incurved apically (Fig. 34), in lateral view, bifurcated apically into two processes, one of which long and pointed apically on inside, slightly curved, other one short and triangular, protruded caudad; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface (Fig. 37). Phallic complex moderately short and stout in appearance, in dorsal view, periandrium with right margin arched outwards (Fig. 38); in lateral view, periandrium with ventral margin somewhat sinuate and dorsal margin arched dorsad at middle, ventral basal angle protruded slightly, forming a small dentate shape (Figs 39, 40); with three long processes at apex, from left to right: 1) an elongate and acute process on left side, gradually tapered distad, directed dorsad mainly, slightly curved caudad apically; 2) a large and elongate process directed dorsocephalad, broad at base and gradually tapered distad, deflexed near base; 3) a moderately long and acute process on right of first two, directed dorsocaudad and curved centrally (Figs 38–40).</p><p>Type material. Body length: male (N=1) (incl. tegmen): 6.8 mm (except tegmen: 3.1 mm), length of tegmen: 5.9 mm.</p><p>Coloration. Body brown to dark brown. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellow and disc dark brown (Fig. 41). Frons yellow, with lateral marginal carinae yellow (Fig. 43). Postclypeus black, longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae almost same color as clypeus. Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Figs 42, 43). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellow (Figs 41–43). Pronotum dark brown, with a transverse yellow streak at middle and two indistinct yellowish brown streaks on each lateral part, margins and median carina yellow (Figs 41–43). Mesonotum brown to dark brown, lateral parts and medioposterior third part darker, with longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae yellow, scutellum with posterior margin yellow (Fig. 41). Tegula yellow (Figs 41, 43). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with two continuous transverse dark brown bands from anterior margin to posterior margin at connection of Pcu+A 1 and apex of clavus level, another interrupted one at first r-m level, irregular dark brown markings in apical quarter, costal cell with tiger stripes, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 46). Wings off-white and semitransparent, with a dark brown stripe at base and brown markings in apical quarter, dark brown stripes along veinlets and transverse branches of veins, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 47). Coxae of fore and middle legs black, rest yellowish (Figs 42, 43). Abdomen dark brown with three rows of small yellow spots on tergite V to VII. Male terminalia yellowish brown, slightly darker at apex.</p><p>Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.4 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 41). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 42). Antennae with pedicel about 2.3 times longer than widest part and shorter than frons (Figs 41–43). Mesonotum about nine times longer than pronotum in midline, disc raised apparently and posterior part flat, with three longitudinal carinae, median carina straight and lateral two curved towards middle at posterior third (Fig. 41). Tegmina narrow and elongate, about 3.6 times longer than widest part; ScP+RA separating from RP slightly beyond middle of tegmen; CuA forked about at same level of MP 1+2 forking and basal third of tegmen, CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (Fig. 46, 77). Wings with MP two-branched, CuA two-branched (Fig. 47). Left metatibiotarsal formula: 4-6-7 (Fig. 44); right metatibiotarsal formula: 4-5-8 (Fig. 45).</p><p>Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, slightly groove, in dorsal view, subrectangular, wide basally and slightly narrow distad, sharply constricted to round angular at apex, with anal stylus at middle, epiproct wide and nearly oval, paraproct long and oval (Figs 49, 50), in lateral view, widest basally, narrow and straight apically, dorsal margin convex dorsad at basal third, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part, ventral margin angular ventrad at basal two fifths (Fig. 48). Pygofer narrow, in lateral view, ventral half curved cephalad (Fig. 48), in ventral view, venter wide rectangular, with anterior margin straight and posterior margin slightly convex at middle. Gonostylus narrow and long, slightly curved, in dorsal view, hook-shaped, narrow centrally and incurve apically (Figs 49, 52); in lateral view, bifurcated apically into two processes, one of which small and triangular on dorsal side, pointed at apex and directed dorsoinward, other one large and triangular underneath, directed caudad; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface, in addition, with a small hook-like pointed process at subapical part of it and directed cephalad, and a conical lobe protruded caudad on inside below it, blunt acute and hirsutiusculus (Figs 48, 51). Phallic complex short and stout in appearance, in dorsal view, periandrium with right margin somewhat arched outwards (Fig. 54); in lateral view, periandrium arched ventrad centrally and gradually constricted distad, ventral basal angle protruded strongly, forming a large triangular shape (Figs 53, 55); with three short processes, from left to right: 1) a subconical process on left side, directed dorsad, wide basally and sharply pointed apically; 2) a process at middle, directed cephalad, arched basally and pointed apically; 3) a spinous process at apex, directed caudad (Figs 53–55).</p><p>Type material.   Holotype: ♂ (NWAFU),  Qixianling Mountain, Hainan Province, China, 320 m, 28 Jun. 2009, coll. Wang Manqiang.</p><p>Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the close resemblance of tegminal markings and tegminal venation to  S. trizona,  sp. nov.</p><p>Remarks. Body length: male (N=1) (incl. tegmen): 7.0 mm (except tegmen: 3.1 mm), length of tegmen: 5.9 mm.</p><p>Coloration. Body brown. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellow and disc dark brown (Fig. 56). Frons with lateral marginal carinae yellow, in lateral view, genae each with a longitudinal dark brown in front of eyes in apical part. Postclypeus dark brown, with longitudinal median carina yellow and terminals of longitudinal lateral carinae yellowish (Fig. 57). Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Fig. 58). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellow (Figs 56–58). Pronotum dark brown, with a transverse yellow streak at middle and two indistinct yellow streaks on each lateral part, margins and median carina white (Figs 56–58). Mesonotum brown to dark brown, lateral parts darker, with longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae yellow, scutellum with posterior margin yellow (Fig. 56). Right tegmen: off-white and semitransparent, with three transverse dark brown bands, first band at connection of Pcu and A 1 level not extending to posterior margin, second one at apex of clavus level oblique, third one at first r-m level, irregular dark brown markings in apical quarter, costal cell with tiger stripes, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 63). Left tegmen with an additional transverse dark brown band at basal two fifths (Fig. 62). Wings off-white and semitransparent, with a triangular dark brown stripe at base and brown markings in apical quarter, brown stripes along veinlets and transverse branches of veins, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 61). Coxae of fore legs black at base, rest yellowish (Fig. 58). Abdomen dark brown, with three rows of small yellow spots on tergite V to VII. Anal tube of male yellowish brown, and dark brown at apex; gonostyli dark brown (Figs 56, 58).</p><p>Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.6 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 56). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 57). Antennae with pedicel about 2.7 times longer than widest part and shorter than frons (Figs 56–58). Mesonotum about eight times longer than pronotum in midline, disc raised apparently and posterior part flat, with a distinct median longitudinal carina and two lateral longitudinal carinae (Fig. 56). Right tegmen: narrow and elongated, exceeding three times longer than widest part; ScP+RA separating from RP about middle of tegmen; CuA forked about at same level of MP 1+2 forking and basal third of tegmen, CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (Fig. 63). Left tegmen: compared to right, with an additional branch of MP, CuAsimple, cell 5 absent, other features same as on right (Fig. 62). Wings with MP three-branched, CuA two-branched (Fig. 61). Left metatibiotarsal formula: 5-7-7 (Fig. 59); right metatibiotarsal formula: 4-7-6 (Fig. 60).</p><p>Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, slightly groove, in dorsal view, subrectangular, sharply constricted to round angular at apex, with anal stylus before middle, epiproct wide and nearly oval, paraproct long and oval (Fig. 65), in lateral view, widest basally, narrow and subtriangular in apical quarter, dorsal margin convex dorsad at basal quarter, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part and angular dorsad about at apical quarter (Figs 64, 67). Pygofer narrow and long, in lateral view, widest ventrally, anterior margin slightly concave at dorsal quarter, posterior margin notched cephalad at ventral quarter (Fig. 67), in ventral view, venter wide rectangular, with anterior and posterior margins straight, hirsutiusculus (Fig. 68). Gonostylus narrow and long, slightly curved, in dorsal view, hook-shaped, broadened basally and incurved apically (Fig. 65); in lateral view, bifurcated apically into two processes, one of which large and triangular on dorsal side, pointed at apex and slightly curved, other one underneath small, round and gourd-shaped, protruded caudad; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface, in addition, with a small hook-like pointed process at subapical part of it and directed cephalad (Figs 64, 69). Phallic complex moderately short and stout in appearance, with basal two thirds relatively narrow and apical third distinctly swollen, in dorsal view, periandrium slightly arched near middle on left side (Figs 70, 78); in left view, periandrium shallowly concave in middle of dorsal margin and protruded angularly downward near base of ventral margin (Figs 71, 79); with five processes, from base to apex: 1) a short and acute process (P 1) directed caudad at middle on left; 2) a large and elongate process (P 2) arising near apical part, broad and scalloped at base, curved near basal third and directed cephalad, distinctly constricted near apical third and roundly finger shaped at apex, extending forward to basal third of phallic complex; 3) a small and short pointed process (P 3) directed caudad near base of P 2 at apex; 4) a large and elongate process (P 4) directed dorsocephalad on right side of P 3, broad at base and gradually tapered distad, deflexed near middle; 5) a long and acute process (P 5) directed dorsad at middle part of apex (Figs 66, 70–72, 78, 79).</p><p>Type material.   Holotype: ♂ (NWAFU),  Mengla, Yunnan Province, China, 16 May. 1991, coll. Wang Yinglun, Cai Wanzhi.</p><p>Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the collection site “Mengla”.</p><p>Remarks.
