The genus Jujiroa was defined in Uéno, 1952 firstly. Due to some species newly described in recent years, the diagnosis for the genus is modified as below. Large or medium-sized Platynini, apterous, yellow or reddish brown, depigmented, eyes small, flat or slightly convex, with body and appendages thin and elongate; dorsal surface glabrous. Head elongate, thin or ovate; tempora distinctly longer than eyes; two pairs of supraorbital setae present. Antennae pubescent from antennomere 4. Labrum smooth, front margin 6-setosed; mandibles elongate; terminal labial and maxillary palpomeres fusiform, not expanded; ligula with apex nearly truncate, with two setae at front margin; mentum bisetose, with tooth bifid at apex; submentum quadrisetose or 6-setose. Pronotum subcordate, glabrous, only bordered at base; hind angles distinct, subrectangular; only basal latero-marginal setae present. Elytra amygdaloid, glabrous, without humeral tooth, apex mucronate or not. Scutellar striole short; basal setae present or not; interval 3 with 0–5 dorsal setae; marginal setae present, continuous. Ventral surface smooth and glabrous; each abdominal ventrite IV– VI bisetose, ventrite VII bisetose in male, quadrisetose in female. Legs markablely slender. Metacoxa bisetose or trisetose; metatrochanter with one seta; male protarsomeres 1–3 not dilated, with adhesive hairs well developed. Aedeagus slenderer and elongate, with small sagittal aileron; parameres developed. Inner sac entirely covered with very lightly sclerotized small scales, without copulatory piece.</p></div>	https://treatment.plazi.org/id/663FED34FFBBFFA15AB0FC06FBF1F983	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
