Holotype: NZAC. 1 Female; CL; Great Mercury Island, Waterfall track ‘boulders’; 2020-1-11; P Corson; Malaise trap; NZAC04193500.</p><p>Description. Female. Body length 4.8 mm; fore wing length 3.5 mm. Head. Antenna with 31 flagellomeres; basal flagellomeres slender, first flagellomere 3.5× longer than wide apically; inner eye orbits indented and weakly convergent ventrally; malar space 0.85× as long as basal width of mandible; face rugose-punctate, flat in profile, narrowed ventrally; minimal width of face 0.55× as long as eye length. Mesosoma. Mesoscutum punctate-reticulate; mesopleuron reticulate, speculum smooth, shiny but with some transverse striations; propodeum punctate-reticulate, no evidence of longitudinal or transverse carina, centrally with a shallow longitudinal groove. Wings. Fore wing areolet sessile (no ‘stalk’); radial cell long, distal part of radial vein 1.6× longer than the proximal vein; nervulus distad of basal vein by ~0.5 its length; hind wing with nervellus weakly curved, not intercepted. Metasoma. First tergite 3.0× longer than its apical width, 1.1× longer than second tergite; ovipositor sheath short, not extending behind metasomal apex. Colour. General body is black; mandible yellow except teeth black; scape and pedicel black; tegulae yellow/pale; fore and mid coxae orange, trochanter yellow and rest of legs orange; hind coxae black, trochanter yellow and rest of mottled black and orange; metasomal tergites black.</p><p>Molecular.
