General coloration brown. Head with crown black, very short and broad, anterior margin gently convex (Figs. 20–21). Eyes dark brownish; ocelli brown, near dorsolateral margin of face. Face mostly yellow. Frontoclypeus moderately convex, surface without distinct carinae, lateral margin expanded, median area weakly convex. Anteclypeus not extended to ventral margin of gena, truncate apically. (Figs. 20–22). Pronotum black, surface finely transversely striated, anterior margin rounded, lateral margin smoothly curved, posterior margin slightly concave. Scutellum dark brown to black, irregularly elevated, with shallow V-shaped, brown with darker lateral margins. Scutoscutellar suture arched (Fig. 20).</p><p>Male genitalia. Pygofer broad basally, narrowing posteriorly, moderately rounded, lateral apex distinctly protruding; posteroventral margin with dense stout macrosetae (Fig. 24). Subgenital plate short, broad basally, tapering to acute point; subapical region strongly curved dorsad, outer margins with sparse slender setae (Fig. 23). Style slender, curved sigmoidally in lateral view, apex attenuate, preapical lobe indistinct the proximal part of the style's lateral process has a distinct tubercle (Fig. 25). Aedeagus in lateral view tubular, dorsally curved, subapical portion laterally expanded near midlength into pair of short serrate flanges, apex with posterior projection blunt the aedeagus is swollen at the connective junction; in ventral view elongate, gradually narrowing apically, apex bifurcated into two slender apical processes; gonopore elongate large (Figs. 26–27).</p><p>Measurement: Length (including tegmen): (holotype), ♂ 5. 8 mm.</p><p>Holotype: ♂, Kongse Township, Daofu County, Sichuan Province, China (Fig. 36), 31.10 N, 101.00E, July 6, 2017, Maofa Yang Collection (GUGC).</p><p>Etymology: This species is named for the black head, pronotum, and scutellum.</p><p>Remarks: This species is similar to T. arisana in the shape of the aedeagus, but differs by the black pronotum and mesosternum and the blunt posterior projection of the aedeagal shaft apex.</p><p>Distribution. General coloration pale stramineous to yellowish brown. Head with crown very short and broad, anterior margin approximately truncate and parallel to posterior margin in dorsal view. Vertex pale stramineous. Compound eyes dark brown; ocelli hyaline (Figs. 28, 29). Face yellowish brown with light brown transverse bands directed toward midline but not confluent. Frontoclypeus convex, transversely rugose, lateral margins slightly expanded. Anteclypeus with lateral margins slightly concave, distinctly produced apically, apex somewhat rounded, extended to ventral margin of gena. (Fig. 30). Pronotum convex, pale stramineous, with fine transverse rugae, lateral margins long, strongly carinate, evenly divergent posteriorly. Scutellum moderately convex with transverse striations, apex acute. Scutoscutellar suture arched anteriorly (Figs. 28, 29).</p><p>Male genitalia. Pygofer laterally expanded, moderately produced, distinctly narrowing posteriorly, midportion distinctly bent, apex angular and prominently produced; posterior margin with densely macrosetae with stout bristles along posteroventral margin (Fig. 32). Subgenital plate broad basally, narrowed, curved ventrad distally, tapering towards apex, apex rounded, with few scattered fine setae. (Fig. 31). Style slender, sigmoidally curved, with a single dorsal spine at midlength; preapical lobe slender, nearly straight, as long as apophysis; apophysis curved, with a distinct preapical projection and acuminate apex (Fig. 33).
