Forewing length 5.3–6. 3 mm (holotype 5.9 mm), forewing breadth 2.3– 2.9 mm (holotype 2.8 mm); hindwing length 3.0– 4.9 mm (holotype 4.4 mm), hindwing breadth 1.8– 2.5 mm (holotype 2.2 mm); length of body (from frons to abdominal apex) 3.5– 4.3 mm (holotype 3.4 mm); length of antenna 2.9– 3.5 mm (holotype 3.5 mm). Female. Forewing length 7.3–7. 5 mm, forewing breadth 3.1–3. 4 mm; hindwing length 5.2– 5.3 mm, hindwing breadth 2. 2–2.5 mm; length of antenna 2.5– 2.8 mm. Habitus of males and females similar. Compound eyes dark brown. Chaetosema roundish, dark brown. Ocellus brown. Proboscis rudimentary. Antenna bipectinate in male and female, length of pectinations in males 0.6–1.0 mm (holotype 0.8 mm), in females 0.4–0.5 mm, antenna with 16 segments in both sexes (only one male paratype has 15 segments), sensory setae of rami long. Distance between pectinations large. Thorax, forewing upperside and underside as well as abdomen brown. Wing venation with full number of veins in forewing, M1 absent in hindwing. Legs brown, forelegs without tibial epiphysis, midlegs and hindlegs without spurs.

Genitalia male (Figures 7a–d). Uncus single, with pointed apex, not heavily sclerotized, strongly curved in lateral projection. Valva with rounded apex, at ventral part with two extremely long, pointed processes. Transtilla forms slightly sclerotized broad membrane. Aedeagus long, more than 3 times longer than uncus, curved in central part, vesica with one sclerotized cone-shaped cornutus with pointed apex. Genitalia female (Figure 8). Ostium bursae roundish without sclerotization; ductus bursae tubular with folded walls; ductus seminalis extends from the middle part of ductus bursae; corpus bursae ovoid, without signa and with folded walls.

Etymology: the new species is named in honour of our friend, German lepidopterist Dr Wolfram Mey (Berlin, Germany), who collected the type series.

Differential diagnosis: the habitus of Pseudoinouela meyi Efetov & Tarmann, sp. nov. is similar to that of the species of the genus Inouela Efetov, 1999, but clearly differs in the genitalia structure. The most important difference is a single uncus, while both species of Inouela have double uncus.

Flight period. January, April, November.

Distribution. Philippines.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/455E72627208B04B6DA4FDCEBCAEF835	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. See Agosti, D., Egloff, W., 2009.
