Unique numbers: STS-86653, STS-65796, STS-65775, STS-51263, gen. preps .

Description. Male wingspan 23 mm, female wingspan 30–31 mm. Male antennae are pectinate, female antennae filiform; labial palpi short; frons and vertex light yellowish-brown; dorsal thorax and abdomen grayish-yellowishbrown; posterior margin of abdominal sternites dark brown. The forewing apex is slightly protruded outward, outer margin slightly convex at middle, wing surface yellowish-brown to brown; inner line extremely weak, forming a very thin blackish-brown line downward along the posterior margin vein of the cell, with a large dark blackish-brown spot on the posterior margin vein; the first blackish-brown costal spot approximately triangular, disappearing at the costal vein of the cell, with a small dark blackish-brown discal spot below; the second blackish-brown costal spot approximately trapezoidal, lower end extending outward as a thin line between R 5 and M 1, extension length shorter than that of Heterophleps minorclarivenata Xue, 1992; outer line extending from the end of this thin line downward to the posterior margin, consisting of a row of weak dark brown dots; outer side of outer line darker, brown, with a small blackish-brown spot on the costal margin below the apex; cilia brown. The hindwing is light yellowish-brown to light brown, darker at the apex; discal spot a light blackish-gray dot; outer line a faint light brown thin line, convex outward below the middle; cilia brown. Female specimens are generally darker in color.

Male genitalia. Uncus long, rod-like. Tegumen uplifted bilaterally at uncus junction to form arched gnathos; middle slightly swollen, covered with dense small anal setae. Tegumen short. Anellus elongate, with two strongly developed slender dorsal spines. Saccus narrow, tongue-shaped. Valva short, basal part broad, tapering distally; sacculus weakly sinuate; costa with a pair of semicircular basal processes. Aedeagus extremely slender, nearly straight; apical membrane smooth, without spines.

Female genitalia. Anterior and posterior apophyses moderately slender. Lamella antevaginalis sclerotized, extending bilaterally into broad V-shape. Ductus bursae divided into two sections; upper section sclerotized and thickened, lower section membranous and unsclerotized, junction strongly sclerotized. Corpus bursae medium-sized, dorsally compressed oval; five to six elongate drop-shaped signa distributed on upper-middle portion.

Diagnosis. Adults of this new species are similar to Heterophleps minorclarivenata Xue, 1992 nervata in general appearance, but can be differentiated by male antennae and the outer line extension. Male genitalia provide reliable diagnostic characters; the genitalia of H. beibengensis are distinct from congeners by having an anellus bearing two highly developed slender spines, and an extremely slender aedeagus.

Distribution. This new species is currently known only from Linzhi, Xizang, China.

Etymology. The new species is named after Beibeng, its town of discovery.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/315B87FAC70D8332FF55FC25FB85FEB0	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. Unique numbers: STS-139254, STS-111654, gen. preps .

Description. Male wingspan 18–19 mm, female wingspan 20 mm. The antennae filiform with short cilia; vertex and dorsal thorax yellowish-brown, with pale yellowish-white apex of tegulae; dorsal abdomen bright white mixed with brown, anal tuft white and slender. The forewing apex is acute and distinctly protrusive, outer margin convex at middle, wing surface ground color white with scattered yellowish-brown scales; markings blackish-brown, lines brownish; wing base darker, yellowish-brown; inner line extremely weak, appearing as a blackish-brown spot on the costal margin, with indistinct linear markings below and unclear at the base; median line appearing as a blackish-brown spot on the costal margin, extending above the anterior vein of the cell, with an indistinct grayish-brown short linear discal spot below; outer line distinct, brownish, an inward-sloping straight line, forming blackish-brown markings on the costal and posterior margins, with a larger marking on the costal margin; terminal line consisting of a row of unevenly colored blackish-brown small spots between veins, darker at the apex; cilia pale yellowish-white. Hindwing bright white, uniform in color without other markings, with an indistinct pale gray outer line faintly visible from the middle to the posterior margin; cilia bright white.

Male genitalia. Aedeagus moderately long, slightly stouter than other congeners. Tegumen slender, welldeveloped; sclerotized bands extending from both basal sides, united to form “X”-shape at middle of tegumen, then forked posteriorly to base of uncus. Anellus sclerotized lamellate, with a pointed process protruding at central upper end; lateral processes of anellus slightly broad, suborbicular, surface densely covered with fine spines. Saccus short. Valva short and broad; costal sclerotization extending downward to above anellus. Aedeagus slender, curved; apical portion with a cluster of fine spines.

Female genitalia. Anal valves large. Anterior apophyses extremely short; posterior apophyses moderately slender. Lamella antevaginalis sclerotized. Connection between ductus bursae and lamella antevaginalis forming a weakly sclerotized, slender sclerite; ductus bursae of moderate length. Corpus bursae long, sacciform; approximately nine to ten short, acute triangular signa located at the middle part of corpus bursae.

Diagnosis. Adults of this new species are small-sized, pale in color; antennae filiform; forewing base covered with bright yellowish-brown scales; hindwing bright white. These characters readily distinguish adult H. jilongensis from congeners, especially the filiform antennae, distinctly different from the bipectinate or biseriate ciliate antennae of other congeners. Regarding genital morphology, the female corpus bursae bears a ring of numerous small longitudinal triangular sclerotized folds, exhibiting morphological similarities to other congeneric species. No congeners possess male genitalia highly similar to those of H. jilongensis . The valvae of the male genitalia are short and broad, with a slender aedeagus, whereas congeners have relatively longer valvae and thicker aedeagi.

Distribution. This new species is only found in Rikaze, Xizang, China.

Etymology.
