2557284AFB3ADB1B96B050595539FE75.taxon	description	In the protologue, four collections from Cambodia were cited, thus all of them were syntypes according to Art. 9.5. of ICN (McNeill et al. 2012). Two of the four collections cited in the protologue were traced in P (Thiers 2015). Four sheets (P 00836460!, P 04001729!, P 04001730!, P 04001732!) kept in P were labelled with Pitard’s handwriting identification, but only three sheets of them belonging to two collections, Magnen, Gourgand & Châtillon s. n. (P 00836460!, P 04001729!) from “ Dai kla ” and F. J. Harmand 940 (P 04001732!) from “ Angkor-thom ”. The two localities were cited in the protologue and therefore the three sheets are supposed to belong to the two of the four collections cited by Pitard. So they should be treated as syntypes for G. angkorensis. The sheet P 00836460 from the syntypes with two leafy branches and six flowers agreed well with descriptions in the protologue and was consequently chosen as the lectotype. Additional Specimens examined: — CAMBODIA. Siem Reap Province: Angkor-thom, 1 August 1873, F. J. Harmand 940 (P 04001732!); s. loc., 14 June 1829, F. J. Harmand 994 (P 04001730!).	en	Ye, Xing-Er, Xia, Nian-He (2016): Gardenia reflexisepala (Rubiaceae), A New Species from Hainan Province, China with Typification of G. angkorensis and G. cambodiana. 2557284AFB38DB1B96B05500542AFC41.taxon	description	Four collections were cited in the protologue by Pitard (1923), but only two collections were traced in P. There are five sheets of the two collections, Pierre 540 a (P 00836465!, P 00836466!, P 00836467!) and Pierre 540 b (P 00836468!, P 00836469!), with Pitard’s script of G. cambodiana in P. The localities annotated on the sheets as “ Bay Remir. creicit Basi montis Chéreer in prov. Samrong-tong in Cambodge ” or “ creicit Basi montis Krewanh in pro. Pursath in Cambodge ” consisted with the protologue, hence the sheets should be syntypes for G. cambodiana. The sheet P 00836467 with two leafy branches, flowers and fruits agreed well with descriptions in the protologue and was therefore designated as the lectotype. Additional Specimens examined: — CAMBODIA. Pursat Province: Mt Krewanh (now Chuor Phnum Kravanh), June 1870, Pierre 540 b (P 00836468!, P 00836469!).	en	Ye, Xing-Er, Xia, Nian-He (2016): Gardenia reflexisepala (Rubiaceae), A New Species from Hainan Province, China with Typification of G. angkorensis and G. cambodiana.
