Ativo Ambiental.</p><p>Etymology. The species name is dedicated to Fátima Giesteira, the mother of the first author, whose love and care are a constant source of support.</p><p>Diagnosis. The male of Otiothops fatimae sp. nov. resembles that of O. baculus by the elongated and narrow embolus, but differs in that it is thicker at the base, with a curved and enlarged apex, and that the tegulum is rounded (Fig. 1C–E) (vs. tegulum smaller and very narrow embolus than in O. baculus (Fig. 6C–E). The female of O. fatimae sp. nov. differs from all other congeners by ventral abdominal scutum strongly projected posteriorly (vs. truncated in other species) and by mesal surfaces of the receptacules large and grooved on (Fig. 2C–E) (vs. not sulcated in other species).</p><p>Description. Male (holotype). Body length 5.8. Carapace 2.7 long, 1.9 wide. Femur I 1.7 long, 0.7 high. Carapace reddish brown; femur I orange brown, remaining leg segments yellow; abdomen light brown (Figs 1A–B). Cymbium truncated at tip. Tegulum rounded, with large sperm duct. Embolus as long as the cymbium, with curved tip, arising from the proventral base of tegulum (Fig. 1C–E).</p><p>Female (paratype). Body length 8.1. Carapace 3.6 long, 2.4 wide. Femur I 2.3 long, 1.0 high. Carapace and legs colored as in male, abdomen greenish brown (Fig. 2A–B). Endogyne with triangular bursa (B) having lateral opening (BO); anteromedian projection (AP) elongated distally; lateral copulatory duct (LCD) at base of receptacle (R), the latter provided with mesal median groove (Fig. 2E)</p><p>Distribution. The specific name is a tribute to the father of the first author, Luiz Cardoso, in recognition of the important role he played in shaping the author’s life and character.</p><p>Diagnosis. The male of Otiothops luizi sp. nov. resembles that of O. helena by the medially enlarged embolus (see Brescovit &amp; Bonaldo, 1993, figs 5, 6), but differs by the enlarged and sinuous distal area (Fig. 3C–E) (vs. short and flattened tip of embolus in O. helena). The female of O. luizi sp. nov. differs from the other females of the genus by the cylindrical anteromedian projection with a rounded apex and elongated median and posterior receptacules (Fig. 4E) (vs. short or inconspicuous in the other species).</p><p>Description. Male (holotype). Body length 5.7. Carapace 2.7 long, 1.8 wide. Femur I 1.8 long, 0.7 high. Posterior median eyes together. Color: carapace reddish brown, femur I orange brown, legs yellow and abdomen light brown (Fig. 3A–B). Distal area of tarsi II–IV with claw tufts. Palp with rounded tegulum and embolus inserted at the ventral base of the tegulum (Fig. 3C–D).</p><p>Female (paratype). Body length 6.8. Carapace 2.9 long, 1.6 wide. Femur I 2.0 long, 0.8 high. Eyes separated half this diameter. Color: same as in male, just a bit darker. Tarsi II–IV with claw tufts. Ventral abdominal scutum with straight posterior border (Fig. 4C–D). Endogyne with triangular bursa (B) having median opening (BO); narrow copulatory duct (CD); median receptacule (MR) longer than posterior receptacule (PR) (Fig. 4E).</p><p>Distribution. In gratitude to the DaSelva Muay Thai team, whose unity and team spirit motivate the author to surpass their limits and overcome any challenge.</p><p>Diagnosis: The male of Otiothops daselva sp. nov. resembles that of O. inflatus (see Platnick, 1975, figs 49–50) in having a flattened embolus, but differs in the curved basal area that is inserted retroventrally, with a tapered distal area (Fig. 5C, E) (vs. basal area straight and curved medially).</p><p>Description. Male (holotype): Body length 4.5. Carapace 2.0 long, 1.5 wide. Femur I 1.5 long, 0.6 high. Posterior median eyes contiguous. Color: carapace reddish brown; femur I orange brown; legs yellow; abdomen light brown (Fig. 5A, B). Cymbium truncated at tip; tegulum rounded, apically truncated; embolus as long as cymbium (Fig. 5C–E).</p><p>Female: Unknown.</p><p>Distribution.
