Crown and thorax greyish white in dorsal view; crown with irregular black spot at anterior margin medially and small trianglular black spot at posterior margin medially. Eyes black. Ocelli greyish white with black border. Forewings light orange. Face off-white, frontoclypeus with paler longitudinal stripe medially. Thorax and abdomen off-white in ventral view. Legs light orange with pretarsi black.

Anterior margin of crown broadly rounded and convex, median length shorter than interocular width. Ocelli located slightly in front of imaginary line between anterior eye angles, lateral area concave, distance between ocelli nearly equal to distance from adjacent eye. Face with frontoclypeus flat medially; muscle impressions distinct and extended to tip of crown; clypeal sulcus indistinct; anteclypeus gibbous longitudinally. Pronotum wider than head, anterior margin strongly convex, posterior margin slightly concave medially. Scutellum with transverse depression near middle. Forewing with distinct apical membranous area, base of second apical cell more proximal than that of third apical cell.

Male pygofer nearly S-shaped, apex narrowly rounded and bent dorsally, with scattered long and short macrosetae subapically. Pygofer process broad base with several microsetae, bent dorsally near midlength and arched posterodorsally to dorsal subapical margin of pygofer, with broad tridentate protuberance just beyond midlength, then narrowed abruptly, apex with triangular projection on ventral margin, tip acute. Subgenital plate broad at base, posterior half narrow and bent dorsally, with one oblique uniseriate row of macrosetae near middle, lateral area with long microsetae, posterior margin rounded. Aedeagus in lateral view with posterior half bent posteroventrally and narrowed gradually, ventral margin arcuate, base with a horn-like protuberance ventrally articulating with paraphysis subapically; shaft in ventral view slender and parallel-sided, distinctly broadened near apex. Paraphysis with posterior half curved dorsad, apex bilobed and articulating with aedeagus. Connective Y-shaped, stem well developed but shorter than arms. Style with tip unevenly tapered and curved slightly mesad.

Etymology. The new species is named for the tridentate protuberance at the apical 1/3 of pygofer process.

Measurement. Length of male 8.3 mm, female 8.3 mm.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Huanglianshan National Nature Reserve, Lüchun County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, 1409 m, 8 June 2019, coll. Xian-Yi Wang . Paratype, 1♀, same data as holotype .

Remarks. This species is similar to A. thaloidea Young, 1986, A. flavipenna Li & Wang, 1992, A. uniguttata Li, 1993, A. bowa Yang, Meng & Li, 2017, A. stenopyga Jiang & Yang, 2023 in external appearance, but can be easily differentiated by the following characteristics: (1) apex of pygofer narrowly rounded and bent dorsally; (2) apical 1/3 of pygofer process broad, with tridentate protuberance; (3) the aedeagus of the new species is stouter than the latter, and bent posteroventrally distinctly.

Distribution. Overall color grey white. Crown with one small round black spot in center of vertex, and one large U-shaped black spot at basal margin medially. Eyes black. Scutellum with black spot at each basal angle. Forewing with black median longitudinal stripe in clavus and another in corium. Mesosternum mostly black. Legs with pretarsi black.

Crown with anterior margin rounded and convex, ocelli located on imaginary line between the anterior eye angles and the tip of the lateral clypeal suture, equidistant between each other and eyes, area laterad of ocelli concave. Face with frontoclypeus flat medially, muscle impressions distinct, clypeal sulcus distinct near middle, anteclypeus gibbous longitudinally. Pronotum wider than head, anterior margin strongly convex, posterior margin slightly concave medially. Scutellum with transverse depression v-shaped medially and slightly posterad of midlength. Forewing with apical membranous area obvious, base of second apical cell more proximal than that of third apical cell.

Male pygofer, apicodorsal portion narrowly rounded, subapical portion with scattered macrosetae. Pygofer process broad basically, base with several microsetae, bent dorsally near base, then evenly tapered and slightly arcuate over most of length, extending posterodorsally to just beyond apical margin of pygofer, tip acute, subapical portion with small triangular protuberance. Subgenital plates with basal half broad and posterior half narrow, with one oblique uniseriate row of macrosetae in basal half, dense group of long and short microsetae laterad of macrosetae. Aedeagus in lateral view wide basally, posterior half extending slightly posteroventrad with tip tapered and curved slightly dorsad; shaft in ventral view very slender, parallel-sided, slightly widened near apex. Paraphysis curved dorsad, with base slender and tip stout, apex bifurcated and articulating with aedeagus at subbase ventrally. Connective Y-shaped with stem well developed but much shorter than arms. Style broad at base, tip tapered and curved slightly mesad.

Etymology. The specific epithet lidoctoris is a compound Latin word, which combines by the family name Li and the Latin genitive form doctoris meaning distinguished scholar and erudite expert. This new species is named in honour of Professor Zi-Zhong Li, a prominent expert engaged in leafhopper taxonomy research. The naming is dedicated to celebrating his 90th birthday, and expresses sincere respect for his lifelong devotion and outstanding academic achievements in the field of entomology and insect systematics.

Measurement. Paratypes, 1♂ 1♀, same data as holotype .

Remarks. This species is similar to A. thalia (Distant, 1918) in the morphology of male genitalia, but can be easily differentiated by its color and markings.

Distribution.
