03AC87F6FF9D8711FF3AFEABFF56B864.taxon	description	Sporocarps densely clustered or closely appressed, globose to cylindrical, 0.3 – 0.8 mm in diameter, up to 0.8 mm in height, yellow with an iridescent sheen; borne on a narrowed base or short filamentous stalks that are continuations of the peridium, with stalks sometimes appearing as extensions of the hypothallus. Hypothallus is membranous, thin, pale, and continuous under the entire colony. Peridium single-layered, thin, with an iridescent sheen; inner surface is covered with warts (in SEM). Dehiscence is irregular; in the upper part of the sporangium the peridium breaks into fragments of varying size, and thus the base remains in the form of a calyculus. Capillitium formed of very long threads, occasionally branched, 3.5 – 5 µm in diameter, ornamented with two weakly developed spiral thickenings; the thickenings with spines and warts (in SEM). Spores are yellow in mass, pale yellow in TL, globose, 10 – 13 µm in diameter. Spores form clusters of varying size; after the clusters disintegrate, each spore has a zone of attachment to the cluster in the form of outgrowths on the peridium. Plasmodium not seen.	en	Vlasenko, Anastasia V., Enkhtuya, Ochirbat, Chelobanov, Boris P., Vlasenko, Vyacheslav A. 03AC87F6FF9D8711FF3AFEABFF56B864.taxon	discussion	Comments: — Hemitrichia schnittleri is most similar in colour, size, and shape of sporangia to the widely distributed species H. abietina (Wigand) G. Lister (1911: 227). The main morphological differences between these two species lie in the ornamentation of spores and threads of capillitium. Hemitrichia schnittleri has spores clustered into complexes; when these complexes disintegrate, individual spores consistently exhibit projections on one side (in TL) that facilitate their aggregation into groups. This feature is completely absent in H. abietina, whose spores are always free. The spiral thickenings on the threads of capillitium of H. schnittleri are covered with spines and warts (in SEM), whereas those of H. abietina are smooth. The ML analysis based on the 18 S nrDNA region (Fig. 4) showed that H. schnittleri is an independent species, closest to H. abietina. The genetic distance of the H. schnittleri branch on the SSU tree is 0.044, with 97 % bootstrap support.	en	Vlasenko, Anastasia V., Enkhtuya, Ochirbat, Chelobanov, Boris P., Vlasenko, Vyacheslav A. 03AC87F6FF96871CFF3AFF18FF56B109.taxon	description	Sporangia on stalks, sometimes almost sessile, pyriform to cylindrical, in groups; often grouped in clusters of several sporangia sharing common stalks; dull yellowish-brown, without well-defined dehiscence lines but with areolae indicating their presence, 0.5 – 1 mm in diameter; up to 1.6 mm in height. Stalk thick, dark brown to black, reaching almost half the height of the sporangia. Hypothallus dense, well-developed, shiny, ochre-brown, common to the colony or group of sporangia. Peridium double-layered; inner layer is vitreous and tightly adherent to the cartilaginous outer layer, from which it can separate; inner surface of the inner peridium is covered with lines (in SEM). Elaters olive-yellow in mass, dark yellow in transmitted light, rarely branched, cylindrical, of varying length 20 – 200 µm, 2.8 – 4 µm in diameter, usually with four well-arranged smooth spiral thickenings, ending in thin tips up to 15 µm length. Spores olive-yellow in mass, dark yellow in transmitted light, warted, 10 – 12 µm in diameter. 03AC87F6FF96871CFF3AFF18FF56B109.taxon	discussion	Comments: — Trichia novozhilovii is closest in colour, size, and shape of sporangia to the widely distributed species T. subfusca Rex (1890: 192). The primary morphological differences between these two species are the olive-yellow colour of the spore mass in T. novozhilovii versus the bright yellow in T. subfusca; the more pronounced lines of peridium separation on the sporotheca in T. novozhilovii, and the ornamentation of the inner surface of the inner peridium. In T. novozhilovii, the inner peridium surface exhibits long lines resembling folds (in SEM), whereas in T. subfusca, the inner peridium surface features ornamentation resembling a leathery pattern with warts (in SEM). The ML analysis based on the 18 S nrDNA region (Fig. 8) showed that T. novozhilovii is an independent species, closest to T. subfusca. The genetic distance of the T. novozhilovii branch on the SSU tree is 0.09, with 92 % bootstrap support.	en	Vlasenko, Anastasia V., Enkhtuya, Ochirbat, Chelobanov, Boris P., Vlasenko, Vyacheslav A.
