Head fuscous, with silver scales scattered, with a white line above each eye; labial palpus pale gray tinged with white scales, curved up; antenna with blackish brown with two whitish rings on apex. Thorax covered fuscous scales with silvery inward lining of tegula, without medial line. Legs blackish brown with silver scales. Forewing bronzy-black, three lines short, arranged, 1/4 the length of basal half area; transverse fascia deep yellow, 1/2 the size of longitudinal width of wing, bright silver inner costal and dorsal tubercular spots connected, metallic, somewhat thick; outer costal and dorsal tubercular spots connected; without apical protrusion; apical line white, thin; cilia dark grayish. Hindwing dark grayish, sharpened apically; cilia dark grayish.

Male genitalia (Figure 6). Right arm of uncus three-dimensional, beak-shaped, sharply toward apex, sclerotized. Anellus lobes relatively short, medial part semicircular, with long seta. Valva symmetrical, paddle-form, gradually expanded and rounded toward margin, softly curved at inner margin, apical margin rather curved up, longer than aedeagus, with numerous and long hairs. Aedeagus bottle-shaped, bulbous, winding side, distal part narrowed and long, chubby at medial part.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. Korea (endemic).

Host plants.
