Behind ocellar triangle (stemmaticum) with a distinct pit (Fig. 1 C); OOL: diameter of ocellus: POL = 1.8: 1.1: 1.0. Frons depressed, with a short shallow, longitudinal groove, with short transverse rugae postero-medially (Fig. 1 C). Face rugose-punctate associated with oblique striae laterally, medially with smooth longitudinal area, setose (Fig. 1 B). Clypeus weakly convex, sparsely punctate and its ventral margin thin and slightly concave, sparsely setose (Fig. 1 B); width of clypeus 2.0 × its maximum height and 0.6 × width of face; hypoclypeal depression distinct and narrow (Fig. 1 B, E). Antennal sockets strongly protruding in lateral view (Fig. 1 D, E). Eye glabrous, in dorsal view 2.5 × longer than temple, distinctly depressed along posterior and dorsal margins of eye (Fig. 1 A – F); eye slightly emarginated near base of antennal socket, 2.2 × as high as broad in anterior view (Fig. 1 B, E). Temple behind eye roundly contracted (Fig. 1 C). Occipital carina strongly developed and weakly lamelliform laterally with a small angulate part dorsally, largely absent medio-dorsally and separated from hypostomal carina ventrally (Fig. 1 C, D, F). Temple and malar space coarsely punctate (Fig. 1 D – F); length of malar space 0.2 × height of eye and 0.6 × basal width of mandible; malar suture indistinct (Fig. 1 E). Mandible distinctly twisted and gradually widened baso-ventrally, with distinct teeth and ventral carina (Fig. 1 B, E); length of maxillary palp 1.1 × height of head; labial palp segments slender except second segment apically widened (Fig. 2 A, B). Antenna with 49 antennomeres; third antennomere 1.4 × as long as fourth antennomere, length of third, fourth and penultimate antennomere 2.6 ×, 1.9 × and 4.0 × their width, respectively. Mesosoma. Distinctly flattened in lateral view (Fig. 2 C); length of mesosoma 2.0 × its height. Pronotum smooth laterally with a short crenulate groove anteriorly, crenulate posteriorly with fine punctures dorsally (Figs 1 D, 2 B, C); dorsal pronope round and medium-sized, dorsal pronotum with transverse crenulate groove posteriorly (Figs 1 C, 2 D); propleuron evenly convex, shiny and sparsely punctulate, propleural flange broad (Fig. 2 A, B). Mesoscutum directly raised above pronotum, shiny and sparsely punctulate with long setae (Fig. 2 C); notauli incomplete, only impressed in anterior third of mesoscutum, rather deep and crenulate (Fig. 2 D); medio-posterior depression of mesoscutum absent (Fig. 2 D); transverse suture of mesoscutum present, postero-lateral groove distinctly crenulate (Fig. 2 D); scutellar sulcus deep and broad medially, with five carinae, 0.2 × as long as scutellum, laterally curved, narrowed and finely crenulate (Fig. 2 D); scutellum largely smooth, punctulate, flat, without subposterior depression (Fig. 2 D); side of scutellum crenulate (Fig. 2 D). Mesopleuron largely smooth, sparsely punctate dorsally and posteriorly (Fig. 2 C); prepectal and postpectal carinae absent (Fig. 2 C); precoxal sulcus moderately wide, crenulate and straight (Fig. 2 C); pleural sulcus smooth (Fig. 2 C); mesepimeral flange widened near pleural scrobe (Fig. 2 C); mesosternal sulcus narrow, faintly crenulate (Fig. 2 C). Metapleuron medially smooth, rest coarsely crenulate or rugose-punctate (Fig. 2 C). Metanotum with complete midlongitudinal carina (Fig. 2 E). Propodeum coarsely foveolate-reticulate with two small transverse smooth patches antero-dorsally (Fig. 2 E); transverse subbasal carina absent (Fig. 2 E); median carina developed anteriorly and merged posteriorly into surrounding sculpture (Fig. 2 E). Wings. Fore wing (Fig. 3 E): length 2.9 × as long as its maximum width. Pterostigma elongate triangular, 3.3 × as long as its maximum width; vein M + CU 1 weakly curved, sclerotized; vein r-m present, slightly oblique; 1 - R 1 ending before wing apex; 2 - SR: 3 - SR: r-m = 2.0: 3.0: 1.0; vein r slightly widened basally, arising before middle of pterostigma; 1 - M and SR 1 slightly curved; m-cu distinctly antefurcal; cu-a postfurcal and inclivous; 1 - CU 1 slightly widened; CU 1 b short. Hind wing (Fig. 3 F): M + CU: 1 - M: 1 r-m = 1.0: 1.6: 1.3: 18; cu-a straight; m-cu absent. Legs. Fore tibia with a single row of short, stout spines (Fig. 3 D). Hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 3.7 ×, 8.3 × and 6.0 × as long as wide, respectively; hind tibial spurs about 0.3 × hind basitarsus; hind tibia distally with six spines on its outer side and baso-laterally without oblique carina on its inner side. Metasoma. Metasoma 1.1 × as long as head and mesosoma combined; seven tergites exposed (Fig. 2 F). Tergite 1 1.1 × as long as wide apically, its surface moderately convex and coarsely rugose (Fig. 3 A, B); dorsal carinae merged basally into a complete medially sinuate transverse carina, midlongitudinal carina nearly complete with a pair of incomplete sublateral carinae with a smooth area medio-posteriorly, sparsely setose (Fig. 3 B); laterope and glymma present, dorsope absent (Fig. 3 A, B). Second suture present (Fig. 3 B); tergite 2 0.9 × as long as tergite 3, 0.5 × as long as wide apically, longitudinally striate-rugose, smooth antero-laterally and medio-posteriorly, sparsely setose (Fig. 3 B); tergite 3 0.5 × as long as wide apically, smooth, sparsely setose except with longitudinally striate antero-medially (Fig. 3 B); following tergites smooth sparsely setose posteriorly (Fig. 3 B); tergites 3 – 4 protruding postero-laterally (Fig. 2 F). Ovipositor sheath 0.2 × as long as fore wing, 1.0 × tergite 1 and 0.5 × as long as hind tibia; hypopygium subtrunctate ventro-apically and about 0.6 × as long as tergite 1 (Figs 2 F, 3 C). Colour. Body largely black except for the following, head except apex of mandible, propleuron, mesopleuron ventrally and posteriorly, fore and mid tarsus, hind tibia subbasally, hind tarsomeres apically, metasomal tergite 4 anteriorly and posteriorly, ovipositor yellow, maxillary and labial palps, ocelli, tegula, fore leg except tarsus, mid leg except tarsus, hind leg except tibia and tarsus, metasoma laterally and ventrally, metasomal tergites 6 – 7 ivory to yellow, antenna, pterostigma, wing veins, tarsal claws, hind tibia except subbasally, hind tarsomeres except apically, ovipositor sheath reddish brown.
