Body yellow (Figs A–C). Vertex obtusely angulate anteriorly, narrower than maximum width of pronotum. Eyes blackish brown (Fig A). Pronotum large, dark greyish brown (Fig B). Scutellum dark blackish brown, with basal triangles pale, transverse impression near apex (Fig D). Forewing semitransparent, with broad blackish brown fascia at basal 1/3; apical half with irregular brownish markings, areas along veins white and hyaline (Fig K). Hind wing transparent (Fig L).

Male abdominal apodemes extending to anterior margin of 5th sternite (Fig E).

Male genitalia. Pygofer lobes large, lateral surface densely covered with microsetae, with 4 macrosetae near basoventral margin (Fig F). Anal tube large, with 3 macrosetae at apex (Fig F). Subgenital plate expanded basally, narrowed apically, concave medially; one long macroseta near base, upper margin with fine setae, apex with scattered small ventrolateral setae (Fig F). Style slender, apex foot-like; neck long, slightly curved medially; preapical lobe distinct with several minute marginal setae (Fig H). Aedeagal shaft symmetrical, with pair of small subapical processes arising from dorsal margin (Fig I). Gonopore at apex (Fig G). Connective Y-shaped, with distinct central lobe (Fig J).

Measurements. Length (including wing): male 2.7–2.9 mm; female length 2.8–3.1 mm.

Specimens examined. Lumyai Ittichan (QSBG) . Paratypes: 1♂, 7♀, same data as holotype (GZNU) .

Remarks. This new species is similar to Eupteryx (Stacla) janeki Dworakowska, 1969, but can be distinguished by the following morphological characters: aedeagal shaft with pair of small subapical processes on dorsal margin and pair of medial processes curved basolaterad ( E. (S.) janeki lacks dorsal subapical processes and has a pair of elongate medial processes extended ventrad then strongly curved dorsad); subgenital plate medially concave (medially slightly convex in E. (S.) janeki).

Etymology. The specific epithet is a Latinized geographical adjective derived from Chaiyaphum Province, Thailand, the type locality of the new species.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/03878780FFCA2235FF6CFBE158C1F81D	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. Eupteryx (Stacla) janeki Dworakowska, 1969

Diagnosis. Body slender, with dark coloration and markings. Vertex and pronotum with symmetrically arranged dark brown spots or patches; forewing maculate; face mostly pale yellow. Vertex obtusely rounded and prominent, coronal suture not reaching anterior margin; median length of vertex shorter than interocular width; head width slightly narrower than or equal to pronotal width. Face convex; frontoclypeus broad; lorum indistinct. Forewing slightly widened apically; third apical cell triangular, with short petiole basally. Hind wing with three transverse veins.

Abdominal apodemes well developed, usually extending to 5th sternite.

Male genitalia. Pygofer side nearly quadrate, posterior margin entire, without cleft; basal ventral angle with several stout setae, disc sparsely covered with fine setae. Subgenital plate broad basally, abruptly narrowed apically, with one stout basal seta; outer margin with a row of fine setae from mid-length to subapex, apex with variable number of short stout setae. Style short at base, with well-developed median tubercle and subapical teeth at apex; outer margin with a regular row of fine setae; apical portion outwardly arcuate, with a heel-like process near apex. Connective Y-shaped or convex plate-shaped, with robust lateral arms and weakly developed median ridge.Aedeagus with well-developed dorsal apodeme and preatrium; preatrium longer than dorsal apodeme in most species; aedeagal shaft straight or slightly curved, with or without paired apical processes; gonopore located at shaft apex.

Distribution.
