03F38A78FFBCEC7FC785CEFBFCADFEA3.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis and description (male). Medium-sized cricket, body length about 15 mm (Fig. 2 A). Head short, distinctly shorter than pronotum. Frons wide, about three times as wide as scape. Median ocellus transverse, oval, situated at apex of frons. Clypeus full, basal transverse ridge distinct, apical shield short, surface uneven. Labrum transverse, shield-shaped, anterior margin broadly concave (Fig. 2 B). Pronotum transverse, anterior margin broadly concave, posterior margin slightly curved; disc broad, flat; lateral margins slightly curved, deflected to lateral lobes (Fig. 2 A); lateral lobes of pronotum short, surface uneven. Tegmina narrow, gradually narrowed from base to apex, margins slightly sinuous, apex acute (Fig. 2 A). Basal field of tegmen short, about half length of pronotum. Three oblique veins. Two cross-veins between third chord vein and diagonal vein; one cross-vein connecting to mirror. Mirror about as long as wide, roughly quadrangular but with inner and basal margins curved. Dividing vein sinuous, almost bisecting mirror. Apical field small, apex pointed, base narrower than mirror, length subequal to mirror; with four rows of cells. Fore tibia with both internal and external tympana; external tympanum large, oval; internal tympanum very small, about one-fourth length of external one. Epiphallus with apex blunt in ventral view (Fig. 2 D); dorsal surface with median longitudinal ridge (Fig. 2 C); lateral view arcuate (Fig. 2 E). Ectoparameres short, slightly longer than half length of epiphallus. Coloration. Head and thorax dark brown (Fig. 2 A). Scape and antennae brown. Compound eyes greyish brown. Ocelli and surrounding area yellowish brown (Fig. 2 B). Maxillary palpi with apical two segments white, basal three segments dark brown; labial palpi entirely white (Fig. 2 B).
