Dorsal surface with long, fine, simple setae; submarginal arc of setae composed of 1 + 15 – 16 long, simple setae. Ventrally with marginal row of setae composed of lateral and anterolateral long, some feathered setae and medial long, bifid setae (Fig. 2 A). Incisors of right mandible blunt. Inner and outer sets of denticles fused (Fig. 2 C 1). Inner margin of innermost denticles with a row of thin setae. Prostheca robust and small comb-like. Margin between prostheca and mola straight. Mola with tuft of setae at apex (Fig. 2 C). Left mandible incisors blunt. Inner and outer sets of denticles fused (Fig. 2 D 1). Prostheca robust and comb-like. Margin between prostheca and mola slightly concave, with minute denticles towards subtriangular process. Subtriangular process broad, rounded, above level of area between prostheca and mola. Denticles of mola constricted apically. Mola with tuft of setae apically absent (Fig. 2 D). Both mandibles with lateral margins almost straight. Basal half with fine, simple setae scattered over dorsal surface. Left and right prostheca with short teeth (Figs 2 C – D). Maxillary palp two-segmented; tip of second segment rounded, with one pointed scale (Fig. 2 E); surface of both segments covered with small hair-like setae; both segments almost same size in length (Fig. 2 F); galea-lacinia with three simple, robust setae apically under crown. Inner dorsal row of setae with three denti-setae, distal denti-setae tooth-like, middle and proximal denti-setae slender, bifid and pectinate. Medially with one bipectinate, spine-like seta and 4 – 5 medium, simple setae (Figs 2 E, 3 A). Labium with paraglossae concave medially, approximately 2.5 × wider than glossae (Fig. 3 B); paraglossae apically with two rows of long setae; sub-rectangular, slightly concave inward; apically triangular; long, robust, distally pectinate setae in apical area (Fig. 3 D). Glossa basally broad, tapering towards apex; slightly shorter than paraglossa; inner margin with 5 – 6 spine-like setae increasing in length distally; apex with three long and one medium, robust seta; outer margin with 4 – 5 long, spine-like setae increasing in length distally (Fig. 3 D). Palp symmetrical with segment I ca. 0.8 × length of segments II and III combined. Segment I ventrally with short, fine, simple setae. Segment II with large, rounded apico-medial projection ca. 0.4 × width of base of segment III; inner and outer margin with short, fine, simple setae; dorsally with six long, spine-like, simple setae near outer margin. Segment III apically rounded; shorter than width of segment II, ventral surface covered with short, spine-like, simple setae and short, fine, simple setae (Figs 3 B – 3 C). Thorax: Light brown with diffuse brown spots (Fig. 1 A). Dorsal margins of pro- and mesonotum pale yellow with brown. Mesonotum with pair of light spots near base of protoptera. Legs brownish, joints of legs dark brown. Femora with brownish yellow of medial area and diffuse light spot near basal and distal margin; outer margin with dense row of long pointed setae, inner margin with row of small pointed setae; dorsal surface of femora covered with hairs and small short bluntly stout setae (Figs 4 A, F & 5 A); femoral villopore present (Fig. 4 B). Tibia yellowish; small stout setae in inner and outer margins (Fig. 4 D); dorsal surface covered with small hair-like setae. Tarsi yellowish, distal base dark brown; inner margin with small stout and hair-like setae; outer margin with row of small pointed setae; claw with row of 7 – 13 denticles (Fig. 5 B); distally pointed with three simple subapical setae. Abdomen: Pale brownish or yellow; terga I – III brown, terga IV – V, VIII – X pale; terga VI – VIII slightly dark brown, lateral side pale brownish; anterior and posterior margins brown (Fig. 1 A); posterior margin of all terga with regular row of stout blunt setae (Fig. 5 F); posterior margin of all terga dorsal surface with small stout setae and tergum I – X densely covered with numerous semilunar scale bases and small hairs (Figs 5 G – H). Sterna brownish; sterna V – VII pale brownish. Gills on segments I – VII. Margin with small stout setae and fine simple setae. Tracheae poorly visible. Gills I and VII small; gills II – VI same in size (Figs 5 C – E).
