Sporangiophores on aerial mycelia, erect or slightly bent, unbranched or simple laterally branched, monopodial or sympodial, hyaline, mostly with a septum below the apophyses. Sterile (aborted) sporangia abundant, hyaline, smooth, globose, 18.6 – 22.5 (– 25.9) μm long and (11.7 –) 17.1 – 24 μm wide. Fertile sporangia hyaline, spherical, 15.9 – 23.5 (– 42.5) μm long and 15.2 – 28.5 (– 42.5) μm wide, wall smooth and deliquescent. Columellae mostly hemispherical to sub-hemispherical, hyaline, 4 – 8.9 (– 12.5) μm long and 8.5 – 12.5 (– 19) μm wide. Collars absent. Apophyses funnel- to bell-shaped, hyaline, 5.5 – 12 (– 15) μm high, (4.5 –) 7.4 – 12.8 μm wide.
