Collected on April 2, 2025.

Morphological description: The specimen exhibited a bluish-green body with a characteristic dark green blotch on the cheek, extending slightly over the upper lip and beyond the eyes. The pectoral region showed a faint pink hue. The caudal fin was truncated and highlighted by a distinct terminal lime-green band.

Meristic counts: Dorsal fin rays IX+10; anal fin rays III+9; pectoral fin rays 14.

Diagnostic features: The dark green cheek blotch extending over the upper lip and beyond the eyes represents the primary diagnostic character for this species, consistent with published descriptions (Randall & Hoover, 1995; Kuiter & Tonozuka, 2001).

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/03DB87E1FFCBFF94FF54FAF66BDCF936	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
