Paratypes. 3♂♂ (NWAFU # NW006-065), same data as holotype .

Description. Length: male 2.9–3.1 mm.

General color dark brown, head light brown. Eyes black. Area between eyes with two discolored patches. Coronal suture inconspicuous, extended slightly beyond crown mid-length. Ocelli white with central area grey. Face and venter of abdomen whitish yellow, antennae brown, middle part of face decorated with red. Scutellum brown, scutoscutellar sulcus black brownish. Forewing and hind wing subhyaline, veins red brown (Figs 1A–D, H–I).

Male 2S abdominal apodemes reaching posterior margin of segment V (Fig. 1E). Male pygofer nearly triangular, with 9 rigid setae near postero-dorsal margin of lobe; ventral pygofer process arising from internal ridge near ventral margin of pygofer lobe, arched dorsomesad and evenly tapered to sharp point, crossing midline (Figs 1F–G, 2A–B). Subgenital plate surpassing pygofer lobe, slightly expanded basolaterally, gradually narrowed to rounded tip; with 7 long basal setae uniseriate, almost same size as macrosetae; marginal setae (ca. 19) divided into two groups, one group with short, tapered setae covering middle third of margin, another group with slender, longer, blunt-tipped setae at apex of plate; 9 macrosetae scattered in two rows in middle of plate; feeble microsetae very sparse and inconspicuous (Figs 1G, 2C). Aedeagal shaft slightly shorter than preatrium, shaft with a pair of symmetrical lateral basal short processes (Figs 2D–E). Connective broad, without median lobe (Fig. 2F). Paramere slightly shorter than pygofer, with about 4 teeth apically and three setae preapically, with a basal tumor-like dorsal protrusion (Fig. 2G). Anal tube appendage developed, slightly sinuate with apex curved anterad (Fig. 2H).

Notes. This new species has obvious differences from the type species M. mediolobus in male genitalia (features of M. mediolobus in parentheses): the ventral pygofer process is rod-like (vs hammer handle-shaped processes); the aedeagal shaft has paired symmetrical basal processes (vs asymmetrical basal processes); the connective lacks median lobe (vs small median lobe at the anterior margin).

Etymology. The new species is named after its type locality, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

Distribution. China (Guangdong).

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/03D587D3D41F5C46DA8EFBA9595CF929	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. See Agosti, D., Egloff, W., 2009. Length: male 3.9–4.1 mm.

Crown mostly orange with two round black spots on anterior margin bordered with white, coronal suture short. Eyes greyish-black, ocelli white. Face and anteclypeus white. Pronotum mostly orange red, anterior margin with irregular pale yellowish patches. Scutellum slightly yellow, scutoscutellar sulcus orange red. Forewing light brown, with darker brown veins. Hind wing membrane slightly fuscous, veins brownish. Ventral side of thorax and legs light sordid yellowish, except dark-brownish tarsal claws (Figs 3A–D, H–I).

Male 2S abdominal apodemes extending to middle of segment VI, parallel-sided, rounded terminally (Fig. 3E). Male pygofer brown, slightly elongated, bearing about 7 rigid microsetae on each side, hind margin truncate, with 5 long setae; slightly protruded vantrocaudad; dorsal bridge well delimited; ventral pygofer process tapered and evenly curved dorsad, serrated on ventral margin in apical third, extended to dorsal margin of lobe (Figs 3F–G, 4A–B). Subgenital plate surpassing pygofer lobe, apex broadly rounded in lateral view; with ca. 10 long basal setae uniseriate; marginal setae (ca. 39) divided into 2–3 rows occupying more than half length of dorsolateral margin; macrosetae (ca. 14) not reaching apex of plate, mostly in a double row; near apex of plate with 1–2 feeble macrosetae (Figs 3G, 4C). Aedeagal shaft S-shaped, stem curved dorso-caudad, much longer than preatrium, with two long lateral processes on sides of stem basally; with two processes apically curved cephalad, one dorsad and one ventrad of gonopore, ventral process longer and more strongly curved than dorsal process; gonopore terminal (Figs 4D–E). Connective lamellate (Fig. 4F). Paramere not surpassing pygofer in lateral view, apical part with 3 large comb-like teeth (Fig. 4G). Anal tube appendage developed, curved toward apex, tapering (Fig. 4H).

Notes. This new species is most similar to S. irmgardae (Dworakowska, 1994) . The most significant difference between this species and S. irmgardae is the former has truncated pygofer side (vs rounded pygofer side in the latter) and a much longer aedeagal process arising ventrad of the gonopore (Figs 4D–E).

Etymology. The name is derived from the combination of Latin prefix “ bi- ” (two) and Latin adjective “ hamatus ” (hooked), referring to the aedeagus with two hook-like processes.

Distribution.
