Microcera kuwanaspidis, Microcera pseudaulacaspidis, and Microcera gongcheniae, the primary differences in their macroconidia are as follows: on average, the macroconidia of M. gongcheniae are the longest, while those of M. pseudaulacaspidis are the shortest. In terms of average width, M. kuwanaspidis has the widest macroconidia, while M. pseudaulacaspidis exhibits the narrowest, and M. gongcheniae falls in between. The number of septa is similar among the species, however, M. gongcheniae tends to exhibit a narrower range, primarily concentrated between 7 – 10 septa.	en	Feng, Xiao-Xiao, Yan, Xiao-Ni, Jin, Ying, Zhong, Zhu-Pei-Qi, Yan, Cheng-Jin, Zheng, Yong-Li (2025): A new species of Microcera (Nectriaceae) from Zhejiang Province, China.
