03CA8C43FFB1FFC8FE8AE650FDE42751.taxon	discussion	Remarks. This new species can be easily distinguished from most Japanese species of Colon by the male metafemur lacking striking projections. Colon (Myloechus) koreanus is similar to C. (M.) tametomoi Hoshina, but can be distinguished by its body length of 2.5 – 3.1 mm, male metafemur with simple hind margin (Fig. 11), and relatively slender aedeagus in lateral aspect (Fig. 15). In contrast, C. (M.) tametomi has body length of about 4.0 mm, male metafemur triangularly projected at the posterior corner, and a relatively robust aedeagus.	en	Park, Sun- Jae, Hoshina, Hideto, Ahn, Kee- Jeong (2005): Descriptions Of Two New Species Of The Genus Colon Herbst (Coleoptera: Leiodidae: Coloninae) From Korea And Japan. 03CA8C43FFB7FFCAFEBFE127FCA822DE.taxon	discussion	Remarks. This new species is similar to C. (M.) appendiculatum Sahlberg, but is distinguished from it by having the striking projection of the male metafemur without setae (Fig. 12). Colon (M.) appendiculatum has a projection with some apical setae. Colon (M.) shini is also close to C. (M.) itoi Hisamatsu, but can be distinguished by its body length of 2.8 – 3.2 mm, male metafemur relatively weakly curved (Fig. 12), and aedeagus relatively short in dorsal aspect (Fig. 14). In contrast, C. (M.) itoi has body length of 1.8 – 2.7 mm, male metafemur with a projection curved sharply and posteriorly, and aedeagus relatively slender in dorsal aspect.	en	Park, Sun- Jae, Hoshina, Hideto, Ahn, Kee- Jeong (2005): Descriptions Of Two New Species Of The Genus Colon Herbst (Coleoptera: Leiodidae: Coloninae) From Korea And Japan.
