Distribution. Korea.

Remarks. This new species can be easily distinguished from most Japanese species of Colon by the male metafemur lacking striking projections. Colon ( Myloechus ) koreanus is similar to C. (M.) tametomoi Hoshina, but can be distinguished by its body length of 2.5–3.1 mm, male metafemur with simple hind margin (Fig. 11), and relatively slender aedeagus in lateral aspect (Fig. 15). In contrast, C. (M.) tametomi has body length of about 4.0 mm, male metafemur triangularly projected at the posterior corner, and a relatively robust aedeagus.
