The Huangpu River was also named after his name (Huang), in his honor.

Distribution. China (Shanghai), only known from type locality.

Remarks. Anurida huangxiei sp. nov. is close affiliated to A. granaria (Nicolet, 1847) in the shape of PAO, slender sensilla on terga and seta p 3 in front of p2–p4 line on Th. II and III, but differs in the shape of sensilla on Ant. IV (with six slender sensilla with heels in Anurida huangxiei sp. nov. vs. with six thick sensilla in A. granaria), the labium (with 11 setae in Anurida huangxiei sp. nov. vs. with 11 setae and two finger-like sensilla in A. granaria), the maxilla (with only outer lamella serrated in Anurida huangxiei sp. nov. vs. with three serrated lamellae in A. granaria), the position of seta p4 on Abd. III (migrated to the lateral tubercle in Anurida huangxiei sp. nov. vs. in normal place in A. granaria), as well as the integument of the body (with special reticulations in Anurida huangxiei sp. nov. vs. with uniform, coarse granulation in A. granaria).

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/03CD747BFFFEFFECFF6A9FF9FCF0175C	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
