Description. Ground color white. Head about equal to or wider than pronotum. Coronal suture distinct basally. Eyes pale gray. Face flat in profile, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus long and slim, lorum broad. Forewing slightly yellowish, 2 black spots near outer margin, 1 black spot on inner margin ( Figs 1a, b, c, d View FIGURE 1 ).
Abdominal apodemes extending to anterior part of sternite IV ( Fig. 2b View FIGURE 2 ). Anal tube appendage with apex hooked ( Figs 2a, c View FIGURE 2 ).
Pygofer dorsal appendage tapered from middle to apical ( Figs 2a, c View FIGURE 2 ). Pygofer ventral appendage slim, exceeding posterior margin of pygofer lobe ( Figs 2a, d View FIGURE 2 ). Pygofer lobe with around 3 microsetae on inner side medially near posterior margin and several slim macrosetae at cephalo-ventral angle ( Fig.2a View FIGURE 2 ). Subgenital plate expanded subbasally, with row of microsetae from subbase to apex along outer margin, subbasal microsetae larger, 3 macrosetae of different lengths near middle and an irregular row of microsetae from subapical to apex near lower margin ( Fig. 2a View FIGURE 2 ). Connective Y-shaped, with manubrium and central lobe present ( Fig. 2e View FIGURE 2 ). Style with apex relatively slim and long ( Fig. 2g View FIGURE 2 ). Aedeagal shaft tubular, with pair of dentations apically on both sides in ventral view, gonopore subapical, preatrium developed, about equal to aedeagal shaft ( Figs 2h, i View FIGURE 2 ).
Measurement. Male 2.10mm, female 2.10mm.
Material examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Jinghong , 2017.VII.8, coll. Weijian Huang ; Paratypes: 1♂ 1♀, same data as holotype .
Remarks. This new species is similar to T. elscinta , but its pygofer has a ventral appendage, the dorsal appendage does not surpass the posterior margin, and the subgenital plate is distinctly curved in lateral view.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin prefix “apic-” and the Latin word “dentatus”, referring to the aedeagal shaft having a pair of dentations apically.
