Australatya Chace 1983 View in CoL
Diagnosis. See Han & Klotz (2015).
Remarks. By including Australatya obscura Han & Klotz 2015 into the genus Australatya, Han & Klotz (2015) initially weakened the separation of Australatya from other Atya -like genera. However, by adding two other characters (the sexual dimorphism of the distal segment of the third maxilliped and the presence of a row of teeth-like spiniform setate on the interno-inferior margin of the merus of the third pereiopod) to the diagnosis, Australatya can now be easily distinguished from all other Atya -like genera (such as Atyoida and Atyoida ) of the Indo-Pacific region.
