Type (lectotype, designated here):— ARGENTINA. Tucumán: Tapia to Vipos , 750 m. a.s.l, 4 February 1939, C.A. O’ Donell & A. Lourteig s.n. [LIL2855] ( LIL barcode LIL000675 [digital image!]), available at http://plants.jstor.org/stable/viewer/10.5555/al.ap. specimen.lil000675 ; isolectotypes CAS barcode CAS0003088 [digital image!], F barcode F0074921F [digital image!], GH barcode GH00043942 [digital image!], LIL barcodes LIL000676 [digital image!], LIL000677 [digital image!], LIL000678 [digital image!], NY barcodes NY00388440 [digital image!], NY00388441 [digital image!]).

Notes:— In the protologue of K. tucumanensis , the authors cited as holotype the specimen Lourteig & O’Donell s.n. [LIL2855]. However, four well conserved specimens with the number 2855 were found in LIL ( LIL 000675, LIL000676, LIL000677, LIL 000678). All specimens catalogued as holotypes, and all with the information found in the protologue. To avoid misinterpretation, the specimen LIL000675 is designated here as lectotype because this is well preserved and has plenty of material to study the species.
