Recruitment: ingestion.

Distribution: USA: North Carolina ( Brandt 1936).

No specimens in collections.

Remarks: Originally recorded as Dujardinia by Brandt (1936). Adults of Dujardinascaris spp. are parasites of fishes and aquatic reptiles ( Sprent 1977).
