Distribution: Canada: New Brunswick ( McAlpine 1996, 1998; McAlpine & Burt 1998a; NBM). Specimens in collections: NBM: 1412.

Remarks: this species is a common parasite of freshwater fishes ( Choudhury & Dick 1998).
