Humeral setae (c2) subequal to lateral propodonotal setae. Hysteronotal shield 120 long (125), 135 wide (150), in shape of inverted trapezium, bearing 3 pairs of lateral setae (e2, f2 and h2) and 9 pairs of median setae similar in sizes to propodonotal lateral and median setae, respectively; setae d2 and h1 situated off hysteronotal shield. Legs. Tarsal claws without basal angles. Leg tibiae I, III and IV with 3 widely lanceolate and 1 filiform setae each, tibia II with 2 widely lanceolate and 2 filiform setae. Tarsus I, excluding pretarsus, about 60 long. Guard seta ft 45 long (37). Solenidion ω 1 about 12 long.

Type material. Female holotype and 1 male paratype ( ANIC # 42–000001 View Materials ), Australian border interception (N129746) from oranges imported from USA, 21 March 2010, coll. C. Hill; female paratype, Australian border interception (N129965) from oranges imported from USA, 8 April 2010, coll. V. Cheok .

Etymology. This species name is derived from the Latin word speciosus (beautiful) and treated here as a noun in apposition.

Remarks. This species differs from the second species of this genus, O. chimaera ( Bochkov and Ochoa, 2005) comb. nov. described originally in the genus Alliea and still known only from females by the presence of two filiform setae on tibia II, the distinct ornamentation of the dorsal shields, and by the absence of angles on leg tarsal claws. In O. chimaera , only one seta on tibia II is filiform, ornamentation of dorsal shields is indistinct, the tarsal claws are with angles.
