Microvelia mimula White, 1879

Microvelia mimula is widely distributed on the neotropics, and has been collected in the Antilles, Venezuela, Panama, Brazil (AM, MT, MG, MS, RJ, SC), Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay ( White 1879; McKinstry 1937; Drake and Hussey 1951; Drake 1952; Drake and Plaumann 1953; Nieser and Melo 1997; Heckman 1998; Mazzucconi and Bachmann 2003; Ribeiro et al. forthcoming). The occurrence of the species in Espírito Santo State is reported here for the first time.
