15. Scrobipalpa divergens ( Povolný, 2002) comb. n.

Distribution. China (Xinjiang).

Notes. Scrobipalpa divergens (Povolný) was described from a single male from Korla (Xinjiang). The species is similar externally to the light specimens of S. gozmanyi Povolný , which do not have dark longitudinal fascia ( Fig. 5 ). The male genitalia of the holotype ( Fig. 21 ) are very similar to those of S. gozmanyi too, but differ in the broader saccus. Additional material including females from the type locality is needed to clarify the status of this species.
