Macrophya bimaculata Mocsáry, 1909

A junior subjective synonym of Tenthredo (Eurogaster) nigrita (Mocsáry, 1909) . Synonymy by Zhelochovtsev (1976a).

TYPES. Macrophya bimaculata Mocsáry, 1909: 16 . Syntype (s) 3, “Turkestania: Montes Alai”. Lectotype 3, hereby designated ( Fig. 29 ). Type locality: “Alai mont.” [= Alai, mountain range in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan].

DISCUSSION. The male of T. nigrita was described as Macrophya bimaculata , and the only syntype found is hereby designated as lectotype ( Fig. 29 ). See also under Rhogogastera nigrita .
