A valid species, Tenthredo (Tenthredo) albiventris (Mocsáry, 1880) .
TYPES. Allantus albiventris Mocsáry, 1880: 271 –272. Syntype (s) 3, “In Caucaso”. Lectotype 3, hereby designated, deposited in NHMW ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ). Type locality: “Mamudly” [= Armenia, 41.187° N, 44.177° E].
= Tenthredo pallidula Benson, 1930: 107 . Unjustified replacement name for Allantus albiventris Mocsáry, 1880 .
DISCUSSION. The species belongs to the Tenthredo arcuata group in a broader sense. The lectotype ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ) corresponds with the placement of the taxon. Currently, five taxa are considered to be subjective synonyms of this variable Caucasian species. In Europe ( Italy: Apennines) it is represented by the subspecies T. (T.) albiventris baldinii (Costa, 1894).
