A junior subjective synonym of Tenthredo (Tenthredella) moniliata Klug, 1817 . Synonymy by Konow (1905a).
TYPES. Tenthredo poecilopus Mocsáry, 1880: 274 . Syntype (s) 3, Type locality: “In Austria ad Piesting”. Primary homonym of Tenthredo poecilopus Aichinger, 1870 [= Macrophya sanguinolenta (Gmelin, 1790) ]. The syntype (s) should be in coll. NHMW, Vienna, but could not be found there (D. Zimmermann, pers. comm. 2012).
