TYPES. Tenthredo nigroclypeata Mocsáry, 1909: 38 –39. Syntype (s) Ƥ. Type locality: “Caucasus: Territorium Kubanense” [= Russia, Krasnodarskiy Kray]. 1 Ƥ syntype examined.

DISCUSSION. The examined syntype bears no locality label.
