Host/habitat: Clay soil, dead leaves on the forest floorleaf mould, litter of Poinciana , mango and other deciduous trees, moss on rocks, organic debris under bread fruit tree, under scrubs near sandy beach.
Distribution: Viti Levu: Corolevu ( Hammer 1971), Koronivia ( Niedbała 1998), Londoni ( Niedbała 1998), Nakulan ( Niedbała 1998), Nasinu ( Niedbała 1998), Suva ( Hammer 1971), Wainandoi ( Niedbała 1998), Yanuca ( Niedbała 1998).
Remarks: This species was recorded as Hoplophthiracarus kugohi by Hammer (1971).
