Host/habitat: Rotting leaves.

Distribution: Viti Levu: Corolevu ( Hammer 1971).

Remarks: Hammer (1971) recorded this species as Oribatella schoutedeni Balogh. Evenhuis (2007) followed Hammer but listed it as Oribatella schoutendeni [sic.].
