( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 )

Studied material. RUSSIA, North Caucasus, Dagestan (Untsukul district), at the mouth of the Gimrin Tunnel (42.743317, 46.884334, 865m a.s.l.) GoogleMaps : one specimen on a slide ( CAU2018-23 View Materials R-01), three in ethyl alcohol ( CAU2018-23 View Materials R-02 to 04), 22.iv.2018, hand collection, SE slope, Koch pine, and juniper, in litter ; two specimens in ethyl alcohol ( CAU2018-35 View Materials - 02 View Materials to 03) at the same site, by funnel, in litter. All Kuznetsova N., Potapov M., and Kremenitsa A. leg.

Remarks. The specimens from the Caucasus differ from the European populations of E. nicoleti by having longer antennae, multispinate labral papillae (vs. having only two or three rows of undulation), and missing S 4i in the sutural row of area H4 on the head. The pattern of the species varies depending on the population although its macrochaetotaxy remains essentially constant ( Jordana 2012).
