Specimens examined. 1♂, Asir, Abha, Hay Al-Nusub ( Abha Farm Centre), 3.vi.2001, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) ; 1♀, same data but, 1–25.v.2013 ; 2♂, Asir, Abha, Madenate Al-Ameer Sultan, Hay Al-Sad , 25.ii.–25.v.2002, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) .

Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Dawah & Abdullah (2006); Deeming & Al-Dhafer (2012). It was described from Italy (Sicily) and further recorded from Aldabra, Cameroun, Cape Verde Island, Canary Islands, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Nigeria, Rhodesia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Yemen, widespread Mediterranean sub-region to Oriental Region and Pacific Islands (including Hawaii) ( Sabrosky 1980; Deeming & Al-Dhafer 2012).
