Genus Stenodema Laporte, 1833

Diagnosis: Pronotum and scutellum strongly punctate; hemelytron without punctures; antennal segment I less than twice as long as width of head; antennal segment I and hind tibia densely pubescent with long and erect hairs longer than width of segments ( Carvalho, 1975).
