Type species. Madygembia rasnitsyni View in CoL sp. nov., here designated.

Etymology. The new genus is named after the Madygen locality and genus Embia . Gender feminine.

Diagnosis. Forewings characters only. Sc reaching distal quarter of wing. RS arising near proximal third of wing and forming a long fusion (anastomosis) with MA. MP simple, desclerotized near middle. CuA with four branches directed to posterior margin of wing. Cross-veins numerous, simple. Wing membrane with wide hyaline intervenal lines.

Remarks. New genus is most similar to Nestorembia but differs from latter in characters given above in the key.
