Both sexes: T2 – T4 with anterior bands of white tomentum narrowed medially; in ♂ T2 - T6 laterally and T7 entirely covered with long white hairs directed backward; in ♀ discs of T4 and T5 entirely covered with tomentum. Male: antenna very short, reaching only middle of scutellum; 2nd flagellomere 1.1-1.2 times as long as its diameter; middle flagellomeres distinctly convex on lower side; three last flagellomeres thickened, entirely black or dark brown; genital capsule very large in respect of body size; membranous retrorse lobe of gonocoxite very large, longer than gonocoxite, relatively narrow, curved mesad, with inconspicuous bristles; gonostylus large, provided with large process directed anterodorsad, bilobed in ventral view of genital capsule ........................................... .............................................................................................................. 2.
