Genus: Rhodococcus Borchsenius View in CoL View at ENA

Type species: Rhodococcus rosaeluteae Borchsenius.

Seven of the eight species of Rhodococcus are found in the Palearctic Region. In Türkiye, R. perornatus (Cockerell & Parrott) and R. turanicus (Archangelskaya) are known to occur ( Ülgentürk et al. 2022). Rhodococcus perornatus is an important pest of oil roses in Bulgaria and Türkiye ( Ülgentürk et al. 2001; Demirözer et al. 2008; Trencheva & Tomov 2014).
